I accidentally spent about 45mins at Piklys on their opening day, but I’m glad I did: I was able to witness the genuine and kind interactions between the head staff and their customers and employees. I was able to meet one of the owners, Mrs. Yveline, her son Chris, and her niece(?) working behind the counter. They are very attentive and have great attitudes. Being unfamiliar with the cuisine, I mistakenly ordered a product with meat in it (I thought the sausage was a tomato, pictured), but I’m glad that they seem to offer a lot of variations beyond what’s on the menu! That said, try to be very specific about what you would like and make sure to advise of any allergy or dietary restrictions. They were prompt and gentle remedying this mistake!

At one point I was able to overhear Mrs. Yveline’s niece encouraging the kitchen, telling them that they: “…did a great job (during the chaotic but successful grand opening), seriously.” The passion and excitement is clear at Piklys, not just for putting out quality dishes, but for offering customers a quality experience. Welcome to Stratford, Piklys! Looking forward to many years of abundant success.

Great service, good price, small batches fresher product. Now you can get your food right away in most Haitian restaurant but is it fresh food. I rather wait and make sure what I’m buying is fresh. That’s the main reason I go there

Great food options. There was a bit of a rough start. We got there, and the food that we chose was either unavailable or not yet ready. We ended up coming back later on in the day, but before we left, we had their Pate. Let me tell you, delectable, exquisite, and worth any wait time. The food that preceeded it was also good. I'd give this place a try for sure. I will be back.

I got the jerk chicken and it was flavorful, very tender, and spicy. Everything was delicious. I called ahead and got my food within 20 minutes.

It’s a new shop, so I imagine some front-of-house to back-of-house systematic stuff will get ironed out as time goes on. The hostess was very kind. Will definitely be back, excited to try the rest of the menu.

Great customer service, a very homey vibe. The food took a lil long to make but conversing with the people who work there made the wait short. They showed great hospitality. In addition, the food itself was 🔥my Haitian family approved lol. Don’t mind the wait if the food comes out like that everytime. Definitely will be back!

The town was in need of a Caribbean spot and this place does not disappoint. The food is made fresh daily. You cannot go wrong with any of the options. Try the patties I promised you won't regret it!!

We were so excited to try the food, we placed an order, they told us 20 minutes. We got there waited for AN HOUR, they kept telling us that the order is almost ready. We left WITHOUT THE FOOD.

Food was spectacular, I highly recommend the griot (fried pork). My order was for takeout but there is a nice dining area if you want to eat in. Very happy this new restaurant has opened in the area!
