We have been staying at this hotel for family visits for over 20 years. The quality of the hotel has gradually declined. The bathroom tubs were very worn out and the carpet in the room was completely falling apart. Couchs and chairs arms were worn out and the plugs for charging were loose. Fire alarm, vents and toilet paper dispensers were falling out of the walls. The rooms need major updating as I haven't seen any modifications with the exception of the removal of the hot tub in years. I mentioned the condition of the room to the front desk she just brushed us off. Breakfast was good. The attendant had everything filled and hot. The kids in the lobby all enjoyed making waffles with all the toppings. As much as my family had enjoyed this hotel in the past 20+ years I will be looking at the other hotels in the area until renovations are made.

This is a decent hotel and served us well for our family reunion. It’s nothing fancy, but it did the job. The rooms were clean for the most part; the bathtub was slightly stained with dirt. I do think overall the hotel is pricier than it should be.

The service was really good. When my grandma had an issue with her room being too noisy, the staff promptly moved her to a new room and were incredibly accommodating, even offering to help her pack up her stuff to move to the new floor. I really appreciated that.

I was also pleasantly surprised by the breakfast! It was delicious and fairly bountiful!

Nice hotel with good bed and beautiful location. I stayed for a week and enjoyed. The small of the room was nice for the first two nights but after that it gets annoying. Similarly the breakfast was delicious for the first two and three days but after that the I felt not much interested as it gets boring. I wish there were different options during the week. Also, my access card was not working for two night and I had to go back all the way to the front desk which was annoying after a long day at work. They have a very nice gym and I enjoyed using the peloton! Definitely will come back later if I need a hotel in the area.

I am very please with my stay, it was worth it. The staff was very polite, anything I ask for I receive very quickly. My family held our event in their meeting room and the staff was very helpful in every way possible. The rooms were clean the pool let’s just say the entire hotel was very clean . The breakfast and stay was 10/10. I would definitely recommend and this will be the place I stay again.

We had a 2-bedroom suite with 2 bathrooms #304. When we opened the door to the room the first thing, we noticed was the smell. it smelled like cigarette smoke, and we are all non-smokers, so it was very strong. We notified the front desk, and they said they could have someone come up and spray! It was 10:00pm and I wasn't sure if the product they would spray would be much better. We were able to open the windows which the locks were all broken and the screens were worn, but it least it helped with the smell. The beds were old, stained and uncomfortable. The sheets did not even fit, and the mattress was exposed which made it very difficult to sleep. The rug was worn and felt dirty on our feet. The furniture was worn, and the room appeared dingy. Overall, I would say they need some serious upgrades in order to be in the Hilton family of hotels. The good points: it was spacious, and the bathrooms were clean. We will not stay here in the future.

I recently stayed at the Homewood Suites for a business weekend. The rooms were extremely clean, and the suite was charming. What made this four day stay less grueling was an employee named Mr. Jerry Johnson. His personality and professionalism was just outstanding! He greeted me by name each day, and I was truly impressed by his kindness. If you need to stay in Stratford, look no further for lodging. The clean rooms, hearty breakfasts, and fantastic employees make you feel like family. Thank you very much for your hospitality.

Thin walls and thin floors. Small, uncomfortable beds. Pool, but no hot tub. Hot water is not hot. Front desk manager in the evening was great, but the morning one was rude. Okay, but would not recommend.
Next time I visit this area, I'll choose a different place.

So i was going to rate it a 2 but my wife said I was being to harsh. |First off, the staff is very friendly.|The rooms, appliances actually everything needs a major update. Very used and old. Gold members here do not get the 15 dollar credit I'm guessing because breakfast is included. So no benefits of being gold. When going to room there was an adult male sitting on floor of hallway. Later I am pretty sure I saw him just sitting in vehicle in parking lot. Somewhat shady happenings. Breakfast was ok , but nothing to really write home about. |I would stay here again in a bind , but would probably pick somewhere else.
