I stayed here recently, and I have to say, the smell in the room and the hallway was awful—a weird mix between feet and smoke. It didn’t feel clean at all. The walls and carpet were yellowed from what I assume is old smoke stains, and the sofa looked so grimy that I didn’t even want to sit on it. The bed sheets were the only place that seemed decently clean, but even those had a couple of odd blurs on them, which was unsettling.

The bathroom looked like it hadn't been updated since the 70s. Everything was old, and the water pressure was terrible. It took forever to even wash my hands properly. As for breakfast—what a joke. There was almost nothing available, just a few items that didn’t look appealing.

While the price was reasonable, the overall experience wasn’t worth it. To top it all off, we were woken up at 7 a.m. by five policemen with rifles, looking for someone in the building. Definitely not how I wanted to start my morning.

I wouldn’t recommend staying here unless you’re out of other options.

This is a drug den, the front desk lady was extremely rude. This was supposed to be an anniversary get away, and the trip was brought to a quick end. Stayed less than 3 hours. The halls smell like meth and the patrons are loud and scary. Waste of money

If other hotels in the area hadn't been full, I would have left after the first night. I was booked for two nights but arrived a day early, so I requested a room that would carry through to my original booking to avoid moving. I was assured this wouldn’t be an issue. However, the next day, while I was out, the hotel called and said they needed to move my belongings to a different room. I was at work and couldn’t return immediately, and while they offered to move my stuff for me, I declined as the staff seemed untrustworthy. It took four calls to finally get someone to stop the move.

Throughout my stay, my key stopped working multiple times. Worse, after 5 p.m., the front desk clerk appeared to be nodding off, and I had to repeatedly explain why I needed a new key. It felt very unprofessional and unsettling. The hotel itself didn’t feel safe, especially since it seemed like the people running the place lived there and had friends hanging around frequently. If I had been traveling with a woman or child, I would have left immediately.

The breakfast was a joke—stale doughnuts, and sometimes they had water or Sunny Delight, but usually just terrible coffee. Overall, I don’t recommend this hotel. If other places in Castle Rock are full, I’d suggest staying in Denver instead—it’s safer.

The stay was clean and quiet. Our room wasn’t what it looked like on the website. Our bathroom was very small and had zero water pressure and when I went to take a bath I was unable to do so, only shower. Having it right next to a nightclub made it a little leery about our vehicle being safe. We have a brand new vehicle and there were people from next door outside playing drunk football in the parking lot of the motel, of which made us have to watch and make sure our vehicle was not hit by careless drunk people. I think for the price it should’ve been way nicer. Our complimentary breakfast consisted of a donut or dry croissant with butter and a small bottle of Sunny D or water. As I said for the price it definitely was not up to par. Good location for some cute tourist shops but that is about it.

It is exactly what was expected for this type of hotel. We found check-in quick and easy. The person behind the desk provided some valuable information regarding the event we were attending. It really helped when we went to the tournament the next day, plus he was funny and very personable. The room was clean, the TV had more channels than I expected. The price was less than half of others in the area that had raised prices because of the golf tournament. It is easy on/off from the highway, food and drink close. It met or exceeded all our needs.

I had to stay at this hotel while in an emergency situation. The room I was in had gross green stains on the floor and throughout the day the smell of cigarette smoke would fill the room from other guests smoking outside either outside my window or from the side of the hotel. They kept the doors open most hours of the day(I didn’t ever see them closed) and had an ashtray literally outside the side door leading to the hall of rooms on the first floor. The drain in the bathroom drained so slowly I would have been standing in water if I showered, when I had a hotel staff look at it, I was told there was nothing he could do and all the drains were like that. The worst part is that I’m pretty sure that I left something behind there, and no matter what number I call of the countless ones that show up in an online search for a direct number, I can’t even talk to someone working at the hotel to see if they have it. I do not recommend this hotel unless you don’t mind nasty floor stains, cigarette smoke, constant traffic sounds, slow draining water in the shower, and never being able to reach the staff at the actual hotel again, no matter what number you call.

your front desk folks were very accommodating and kind. the bathrooms were a bit small--my shoulders would not fit when seated between the sink counter and the wall.
bed was very comfortable--could have used more pillows, but next time we will bring a couple of our own.
My wife did notice that the area on the North Side of the motel was not very clean and she was timid about going out that north door at night due to that.
All in all we enjoyed our stay and will return.

To be fair, I was traveling across country and just needed a place to sleep one night, so I searched for the cheapest hotel in the area. My expectations were not high, but this is probably the worst place I've ever stayed. First off, a travel site quoted $88, but I was already there, so decided to just book in person. The woman at the desk said something like $140. When I mentioned the internet quote, she said I should book it there, which I did. To her credit, she called the manager or owner to clarify and discovered a lower price, but still not as low as the website. I'm giving Service 4 stars though, because, aside from that snafu, she was nice and professional. I wouldn't be surprised if ownership instructs them to start high, hoping it won't be questioned.

The room was incredibly outdated and falling apart. The sink, toilet, and shower all had minimal water pressure with loose fixtures that felt like they would break off at any moment. The TV was attached to the wall in a way that it faced down and could not be adjusted. There was a useless, broken lamp in the corner. The AC unit and the refrigerator were incredibly loud. The window must have been original from 50 years ago... single-paned with no working locks. They literally had a piece of wood in it serving as a lock. Being on the first floor, people in the parking lot could walk right up and look in. If I were a woman or family with kids, I would not have felt safe staying there.

That brings me to the location. Half a mile over the freeway in downtown Castle Rock, it feels like a trendy, upscale neighborhood, but this is a whole different world. There were multiple people who appeared homeless or strung out just wandering around the property at all times of the night. I actually slept with the window open, because my car was right outside and I wanted to hear if anyone messed with it. I believe some of them were actually living in the hotel. There are train tracks about 100 yards from the building with frequent, very loud usage and the bar immediately behind the building has some interesting reviews on here if you want to feel less safe. Needless to say I didn't sleep well, and bolted out of there as soon as the sun came up.
