Made sure to start my visit in Orange here, and was met by a knowledgeable and very helpful lady who did her best to send me on my way happy. I inquired about postcards, and unfortunately the shops were closed in the middle of the day on a Saturday, so I would just look ahead before you visit to be sure what you’re wanting to visit will be open. The place has a lot of informational pamphlets and brochures for your taking, and is set in an old train depot which is really cool. Worth a visit if in Orange for sure.

My friend and I went here bc we had some questions about restaurants. The 2 ladies there were so nice, helping and very, very pleasant. So, if you need help about places, instead of driving around everywhere, just come here. You will NOT be disappointed.

Stopped in to get some information about the area. An older couple were volunteering that day and were incredibly helpful and willing to talk. This is the second time we've stopped, (the other time being a few years ago) and the volunteers have always been willing to chat and share their regional knowledge.

2 words, Lori Carter! She was way beyond helpful and attentive. Above n beyond her call of duty and our requests is an understatement. Can't wait to visit again and learn more about my roots in Orange but without Lori at the visitors center it wouldn't have been as knowledgeable a trip. Thanx so much.

This visitors center is manned by volunteers. There is helpful information here about the surrounding area. Brochures and maps and helpful people. Watch the trains go by if you're lucky. Orange Virginia is a sweet little stop while touring the area.

No one there on posted web hours. No calls picked up, no voice mail ever answered. Very disappointed.
