This was so so much fun! Last minute decision the day before we left and totally worth it. More fun that renting jet skis! 2 guides take you out on a boat ride first to the ocean, finding a spot they regularly use where people can see you from the shoreline not far from boardwalk activities (and can get pics from there too!) The spot is about 22ft deep I believe he said. Once there he pulls the banana raft down and everyone gets on together. It can be mixed families on the big float which was fine and fun!! Everyone gets on and holds on to the handle in front of them. He will then drive the boat and pull the banana around and hit waves and you can fall off the side! It’s definitely not like a crazy unsafe thing, it’s really cool and fun! When one falls off boat stops and pulls around and ensures you get back on the float! The other guide will take pics with your phones you leave on boat for you so be sure to have your camera open so he can grab it and snap! After about 20 ish mins or so of that fun, he reels banana in and everyone gets in boat. Then he pulls ladder down and large rope and at this point it’s time to jump off the boat into the ocean!! So funny too! After the jumping off a few times each, lots of pics and laughs, we take a nice scenic boat ride back to De Lazy Lizard park and it’s done! Truly a must do if you go to OC you won’t regret it I promise and the prices are very fair for this too!!! My kids told me they prefer this over all other activities and they are 15 and 10. My 10 year old is about 65 pounds and this was great for her too!! Life jackets are provided & he plays cool music along the ride too. Lastly they work off of tips so make sure you tip them well~ they definitely provide an amazing experience and deserve it!! Cash is king!! LOL. IF YOU HAVE ANY RESERVATIONS OR CONCERNS ABOUT TRYING THIS OUT, DON’T I PROMISE YOU WILL LOVE THIS!! First time to the ocean and went on the banana boat. It was a blast!! Had so much fun! I highly recommend trying it if you're ever in Ocean City, Maryland!! The first mate will take video and pics of your ride!!

This was a great time for my family of 4, including 2 boys ages 11 and 16. If you don't like getting wet or ending up in the water, you're missing out but you're totally safe with the high quality life vests and experienced crew. We'd never done any kind of tubing before, perfect ride for the inexperienced. It's a memorable experience too. If we have 1 improvement it'd be that we wish we could have had an even longer ride. I'd pay for that.

We’ve been saying for years “we gotta try the banana boat” and finally did it this year. It will be a new yearly tradition for sure!!! SO.MUCH.FUN. Graham and his wife were so welcoming, giving us perfectly fitted life jackets while we chatted. Mate Tony took pictures while we whipped around behind the boat. My mother-in-law had a blast riding on the boat while we had fun in the water. Easy, fun and worth every penny. See you in June 2022!!!

Loved this banana boat! This company is great, very professional and fun. After the banana we had a great time jumping off the boat for a swim. The water was perfect in the bay. There were ages from about 4 to mid 60s on our trip and everyone had a blast.

This was an absolute must for any families looking for something fun to do at a reasonable price. The crew and I presume owner/captain were awesome. Very friendly and we had an excellent excursion that our entire family enjoyed. Also want to thank all of the team for a memorable experience. Was the kids favorite thing in Ocean City!
