A buddy and I took a last-minute trip up to Pittsburg to trout fish. It was tough to find a place for a single night but North Country Lodge and Cabins came through. The cabin was very nice and extremely well kept. The owners were very friendly and accommodating. Looking forward to going back for a longer stay next year!

Hosts are so nice and accommodating. Sunsets are gorgeous, fishing is great and the cabins are awesome! Been coming here for several years at least 2-3 times a summer. Great place to watch the loons, and relax by the water.

Enjoyed meeting the friendly owners & renting one of their boats out for a beautiful day fishing on the lake. The owners are pleasant & very easy to work with. Our boat operated perfectly & was very reasonably priced. We caught small mouth bass for hours. Highly recommend!

We can't say enough good about our stay here this week. It was exactly what we were hoping to find in Pittsburg--a great cabin on the water. The view and sunsets are spectacular but the sights and sounds of the resident loons--priceless!! The owners are extremely friendly and helpful and we certainly plan to stay again!!

My husband and our five year old spent a weekend here and we absolutely loved it!! The cabins are right on the water and the view is amazing! We stayed in cabin 6 (Bear) and had plenty of room for all of us with room to spare! We loved the covered front porch, parking right next to the cabin, and it was very easy to get to. ||||The cabin was decorated with some tiger pictures (a bit random) but added to the cuteness of the place. The kitchen was well stocked with all the needed utensils and pots and pans.||||The place was unbelievably clean! Every inch seemed clean and fresh! No unwanted dirt, dust, grim, or smell.||||If there is one area of improvement it would be the comfort of the furniture. The futons aren't great to sit on, so relaxing after our son went down was a bit of a challenge. I would bring your own pillows, the ones provided are VERY firm and thin. The mattresses are pretty firm as well. My Dad would love them, however, they were a way to firm for me. ||||But overall, we plan on returning! We absolutely loved it. The family that runs it was very friendly, helpful and easy to get a hold of. ||||Their website doesn't quite capture the beauty of the area and the coziness of the cabins. Its worth the hassle to email and or call for the reservation.||Go check it out! You wont regret it!!

Stayed at Acorn cabin with my dog.... and I can’t wait to go back!!! So peaceful, relaxing.... and the most beautiful views of the sunsets. Listening to the ducks in the morning while sitting on the front porch having coffee and listening to the loons off in the distance at night while sitting by the fire. We just got back after staying a week and I can’t wait to go back!!

Nice place with a top notch staff. Excellent customer service. We had a problem with our car and they immediately helped find someone who could solve the problem. This is our second stay. We were there ti fish. They have a great little fly shop and good suggestions. The fishing was wonderful!
