Our family of 5 occupied 2 rooms for 4 nights. First the good-beautiful common seating areas with fireplaces, excellent food in the restaurant, complementary cookies, water and Diet Coke, quirky yet comfortable historic rooms. The bar and restaurant staff were friendly and attentive. The main issue is the front desk staff. Note that there is no daily cleaning-you must request it daily. And there is no ice machine. However the restaurant will provide small ice buckets. The front desk staff was unfriendly, with little done to provide assistance with check-in or advice about local attractions. Thankfully we were familiar with the area. But over the course of our stay there was little rapport or interaction with staff. No one asked if we were comfortable or if we needed anything. In the hospitality industry, friendly staff is the cornerstone of a successful property. This staff needs re-training!

Such a romantic stay! We were there during a snow storm and it was perfect to celebrate Valentine’s Day! The ice skating rink outside is so cute. We walked around the downtown before coming back for a drink at the bar and dinner. Beautiful restaurant and great service. The room was cozy and we enjoyed the jetted tub in the room. We will definitely be back.

What a gem! This Inn was a last minute booking for us as we did a Friday ski day up to Sunapee as a family. We were warmly greeted at the front desk, including cold beverages and freshly made cookies. We enjoyed our 3rd floor (#34), with a small pullout couch and a full bed. Our room was freshly painted, with new furnishings, renovated bathroom and overall, felt very clean. After a long day of skiing, eating downstairs at The Elms restaurant was convenient, cozy and had delicious cuisine. Maybe not the cheapest in town, but the convenience and service was everything. In the morning we could help ourselves to coffee, tea and pastries in the front parlors of the historic inn. At checkout, I enjoyed a conversation with the GM, learning more about the history of this inn and the local area. We loved this stay and would book again in a heartbeat for our next Sunapee ski trip!

What a cute, comfortable, quintessentially New England hotel. Restaurants are very good (but pricey). Be careful they charge extra for "additional guests" including children, even if you think you had them on the reservation be careful. Very comfortable rooms, Roku TVs, and Kate and Erica extremely helpful to guests. Close to Ragged Mountain.

The new London Inn is very cozy and comfortable place to stay. It is a beautiful old, but well maintained, building. |As soon as we walked in the lobby |we were welcomed and greeted As if we were old friends. Kate was at the desk and is so very kind. My sister and I felt right at home!!||We enjoyed a very comfortable room and two lovely meals at the restaurant on the premises.|Sally was our server and she is also wonderful. Super friendly and again we felt like we had known each other for a long time.||We can’t wait to go back again to this lovely place.|In fact, I’m thinking about booking a trip for next month.

We had a ski trip to Mt Sunapee with family and friends and decided to stay at the inn. The place is very cozy. There is a common living area where they offer quite some board and card games that the kids and the adults enjoyed. The elm restaurant offers great food and drinks. All of us enjoyed our big group dinner there. Especially the kids that were given games ( word games with their own names and treasure hunt) that created by the staff. The inn also provides complimentary water, soda and some light bakeries. Drive to the ski resort was fast and easy. The room is clean and tidy although the hot water may be off sometimes. Overall, we enjoyed the stay a lot and will recommend.

Beautiful part of the New London area history. This charming Inn was built in the 1700’s and is stunningly maintained. Our room was spotless too!|Great location and great dinner as well. You don’t feel like a number, you feel like a guest. We will be back.

Always a fabulous stay. We come back yearly when visiting friends at Sunapee. New England charm at its best! Love being able to drive up and get an amazing meal later on a Friday night; best gourmet burger around. Comfy beds, always spotless, and the staff is always welcoming.
