I ordered a Hobie kayak H-Bar. It was a large package and the estimated shipping was five days out. Much to my surprise it arrived two days early!
The package was in perfect shape, but the sealed package of hardware from the manufacturer had a missing nut and an issue with the mounting feet.
I called customer service spoke with Steve and he had the parts sent out the same day! He then put me in contact with Nick who does the in-house rigging. Nick was able to look at parts in the store and provide help in resolving the manufacturer’s issue with the mounting feet.
Both Steve and Nick were incredibly responsive and helpful. It was such a pleasure dealing with these guys. Would absolutely buy from them again. In fact, the H-Bar was in short supply. But N.E.D had more in stock so I had my friend buy it from them.

Amazing experience purchasing my new Hobie Pro Angler 14. Came in from New York after calling ahead to see if they had stock. They were one of the only dealers in the tri-state area that had Pro Anglers available. They accepted my offer and worked efficiently to get me back on the way home with my new kayak as soon as possible. Very knowledgeable with outstanding customer service. Great dive shop. Very organized and helpful, excellent open water and refresher course with Will. The PADI curriculum is global but the logistics and teaching make a difference. We met 3 other dive masters too and they all have a good vibe, patient and funny. You feel you can trust that you’d stay safe and have fun. Would love to take the Mexico trip with them and see octopuses!

My wife and I wanted to test a couple of Hobie kayaks. We couldn't make their demo day, so they offered to set one up just for us. Greg was flexible about scheduling and was great to work with throughout the whole process. He and the other guys at the shop were knowledgeable, friendly, professional, and provided excellent service.

There is a warmth and authenticity about this place that you don't find at a lot of business nowadays. The folks here really seem to love what they do, and they're good at it. We'll definitely be back for anything kayak-related!
