The 2 hour manatee kayak was amazing. Rachel was our guide and very knowledgeable on the springs and surrounding area. We were lucky and saw lots of manatees along with a few eagles and other wildlife. Rachel offered some great suggestions for hiking trails. 10/10

FABULOUS tour company and tours 🙂 I had Jody, Rachel, Roman and Ed for the Starlight Kayak Tour and it was amazing!!!

Im a local with my own kayak and can easily pay way less to go out here on my own but this tour is so worth the modest fee for what you get= no hassle and ALL adventure.

Everything was thoughtful and well planned: they had bug spray and headlamps and extra blankets if we got cold. (my feet never even got wet- they got me in and out of my yak dry)
We saw so much wildlife and manatee were everywhere popping up around us. The guides pointed out constellations, planets, and lots of satellites 🙂
It was a stunning evening and a beautifully unique and special tour 🌗 can’t wait to do it again soon.

This was probably our best tour in the area. Really takes you back to nature with a not overly difficult kayak paddle. The river and springs were amazing. Kayaking with the Manatees is something we will never forget. Our guide Jody(Jodie) was friendly and knowledgeable. Over all a fantastic experience.

Our guide for the evening, Jodie, was nothing short of phenomenal! As we paddled along under the softening sky, the peacefulness of the river wrapped around us. Jodie pointed out various plant species and how each plays a special part in the ecosystem , transforming our leisurely paddle into an enlightening experience.

Amazing tour! Captain Jodi is so knowledgeable and accommodating. We had quite the adventure exploring mangroves in low tide; she even rescued us from being stuck on an oyster bed in a narrow passage! Highly recommend this company!

We had a wonderful kayak tour with Rachel and an amazing time viewing so many manatees. Rachel is very knowledgeable about the river and its inhabitants and was quick to point out the juvenile bald eagle and an otter popping its head in and out of the water. We would definitely book with Nature Coast Eco Tours again.

Jody was an outstanding guide. We learned so much about manatees and saw at least a couple dozen very up close during our 1/1/2 hour trip. Seeing a mama passing right under the bow of our pontoon boat with her calf nursing alongside was so amazing! Jody also pointed out other wildlife on the Homosassa River and was able to answer all our questions. She also suggested we visit Homosassa Springs Wildlife State Park before we left town, which we did. Highly recommended!!
