The one front desk person is absolutely useless. She refuses to help anyone at all. EVERYONE that comes through the door...."take a number". She doesn't care that your literally just dropping off paperwork like you were directed to do by another worker, no need to talk to anyone, just drop off paperwork. Must be nice to have such a gravy job. Thanks for nothing chic!!

Kudos to Delaware's Department of Social Services for spending tax payer money the way it's intended. After looking into Delaware's Open Data website and seeing what our money is being spent on, it's a relief to see there's at least one place doing it right.

This is overall one of the best social service buildings that I've been too. My only complaint so far, is that it depends on who is working the front desk that day. Some of them are really very helpful. Others, can be rude or don't want to acknowledge you when you come in. They don't want you ask a question and don't really wanna help you with anything.

This is by far the absolute WORST state service building I have ever dealt with. That's excluding the girls that answer the phones,It's sad when the receptionist has more compassion and actually does more work to try help me than the actual workers that have degrees/certificates. I was few days late on my renewal pprs in feb and on the 3rd of March my fs werent applied which I I figured they would be a few days late because I was a few days late returning my renewal.... The t being said I waited week.. then started calling to make sure they didn't need any further documents because still nothing on my card. The girls who answered the phone put me through to several different workers and after leaving numerous messages I never received not one call back. 7530 anything so I kept calling back everyday and like clockwork everyday my worker was away from her office... I finally get told because my renewal was late they have up to 30 days to process my paperwork. Well 100 calls and voicemails later and well over 30 days past and I get them to hear from anyone from the social service, receive any mail from them, and still don't have my food stamps on my card. All that being said I would like to know what repercussions the workers are going to have because they haven't processed my paperwork within the 30-day deadline? Because I was late with my renewal a few days I had to wait all month and spend my money on food instead of bills so I assume there will be consequences on there r them not holding up there requirements. I'll update after I demand supervisor today!!!!

I DONT EVEN LEAVE REVIEWS EER!!! BUT THIS EXPERIENCE HAS VEEN SO MINDLOWING , SADDENING AND just completely disregard for ME AND MY KIDS ND what exactly their jobs require out of them!

Ms. Gonzalez was very informative and help me understand what services were offered at the office. Gave clarification on what I might want to apply for and the steps in the approval process.

The staff here is truly helpful...non judgemental and they truly care!! I would deff recommend this service center over any other in Delaware!!
