Extremely nice, clean rooms with all the necessary amenities. Location is convenient and quiet, very quick walk from the downtown area and Amtrak station. As a solo female traveler, the front desk lady was accommodating for all of my needs. If I’m ever in town, I’ll be staying here again!

The people here were so kind. The workers were so respectful, the rooms were beautiful, and even though I didn’t have time to have their lunch specials, getting to sit and relax on the patio is so peaceful. is a tiny town, and it takes about a five minute walk to get into downtown. Definitely give this place a try when you’re going on any adventure in southern Colorado.

We stayed here for 2 nights to see the tarantulas. Solid motel, would definitely stay here again when in La Junta.

Short version: Great value, very nice people, allowed my dog, quiet, good breakfast options, COLD a/c in the room worked great

Decent value for the price. Rooms are comfortable and nicely furnished with table and chairs for two besides the armchair; microwave, mini fridge and coffee maker. Take out food selection and quality is very good and was even brought to our room when ready. The continental breakfast offerings put many a major chain hotel to shame. Only downside was unbelievably dirty carpet that left bare feet black as if embedded with soot?

It's getting harder post-COVID to find good, small roadside motels like this. Clean sheets, clean bathroom, solid breakfast, and quiet. If you want a premium experience, then go pay a premium price somewhere else. If you want a nice, clean place to sleep at a budget price, this is a good stop.

Midtown Inn is a perfectly acceptable stop for the evening when passing through the flats of CO on Hwy 50 and need a place to stay for a night.

It's an older facility with dated accoutrements but our room was clean and quiet.

Rooms were nice and cozy. This place has definitely turned around after new management took over. Its very clean inside and very welcoming. No its not a Hotel, this is a Motel... but its the best motel ive stayed in. Its historical and perfect location to walk around. The food here is also great and new management worked hard to fix everything and to keep things running. The lady was really nice and helpful. Great prices here and the laundry room was a nice touch. This motel has a lot given to customers for a great price. I will come back to stay and i will recommend to other people. Thank you for a good stay!

Everything is new. Booking was painless. When came checkout time tho, room service was impolite by knocking to tell you what time check out is. We can tell time.
