No peacock when we visited in December. We loved the hike. Multiple small trails inside to get your steps. If you love watching birds, you can get that at the back end of the creek trail

This is a small but pleasant park with a nice, peaceful atmosphere. The highlight is the peacocks, which add a unique and charming touch to the experience. While the park isn't very large, it's a decent spot for a short walk or a quick visit. Not bad overall, especially if you enjoy seeing wildlife up close.

Nice little park with a small short trail in the back that traverse the creek a few times.
There are several peacocks that live on the property.
There were quite a lot of groups taking special event pictures. Parking lot is small, but plenty of street parking available.

Took a few minutes to find the peacocks. Well worth the trouble though. They were very photogenic. Flowers were beautiful but a bit early in the season to be plentiful.

Small park with peacocks, well-designed gardens, and fountains

There are a few short gravel / dirt walking trails that lead to a the river. There’s gorgeous views with the fall leaves in late November.

There’s a small parking area of ~20 spots but parallel street parking

Extremely cute place to spend an afternoon. Small koi ponds and beautiful lily pads (you can spot tiny frogs on them sometimes). The peacocks are stunning if you manage to catch them, and the the trails lead to some nice river views.

The trails are short...the longest hike, on a nice day, is likely to be the one from and back to your car. 😉 That's not a bad thing, it means others are out and enjoying this little gem as well.

You may get lucky and see one of the peacocks that roam around the park, you may get unlucky enough to be around some loud, obnoxious and self-centered groups of people who don't care that others are around trying to enjoy the day and don't wish to... but, I digress... 🙂

This park is an enjoyable little (and I do mean little) get away without having to go far if you're in this part of Austin.
