Great hotel and amazing staff. The front desk and lounge staff were so nice.
The hotel is massive but it never felt crowded when I visited.
If you workout, this hotel has a massive gym.
Wow, I was impressed two whole floors and very nice equipment too.
The room was comfy and so was the bed.
The club lounge had great food options.
Breakfast was excellent and the outdoor terrace a treat.
Will be coming back if visiting DC.

If you’re a Marriott member that is use to great service and amenities then I do not recommend this location. From the Valet (40 minute wait) to the check in (another 40 minute wait, even in elite line) was a nightmare. Do not pay extra for the M club, they did not refresh basic items of soda and water for the entire 3 day stay. The club was packed with no seating and please do not expect snacks or breakfast unless you are first to arrive. As once it is gone. They do not refill. There was a line out the door to only find there was not any breakfast, or coffee left for that matter. When booking we were told our booking included valet to find out it was $70/night addition. When asking for late check out the counter was not very friendly. They do not go the extra mile for elite members, you do not get water in your rooms. I will say the housekeeping was the nicest of the staff. I love Marriott but this was a major disappointment.

The hotel is in a great location - connected to the convention center - near markets, convenience stores, restaurants and more. The rooms are comfortable, but the spotlight of the facility is its lounge/bar area. It’s a large, open space that can accommodate a lot of people, encouraging hours socializing.

I had a two night stay recently in the Marriott Marquis Washington D.C I was there for a conference and my husband and little dog tagged along! We had a fabulous stay! The rooms were super clean, staff was really friendly and helpful. I love that I could take my dog. There's a small park across the street and some other green areas for walking her. My husband worked from the hotel room with ample wi-fi. Would definitely recommend!

I was in town for the inauguration. We had events at the Marriott Marquis during the entire weekend. Everything was top notch from the staff and service. I need to especially recognize Cori. Her bright smile and exceedingly excellent service were a highlight of the trip. She went above and beyond to make our experience outstanding. Highly recommend this hotel for a stay and especially for an event. Ask for Cori!

The hotel itself is beautiful and conveniently located in the city. The valet parking is good, just beware if you have a large vehicle that it might not fit in the underground parking garage. Thankfully the valet was able to park my vehicle in the driveway so I didn't have to try to find another garage.||The beds are very comfortable and the room was perfectly cleaned every day. The shower was tall enough and the water pressure sufficient.||Room service, was so fast and the food was absolutely delicious. I ordered breakfast and it was at my door in 10 minutes or less every time. ||The conference space in the hotel was very nice and spacious for an attendance of over 800 people.

The staff was wonderful, unfortunately we felt the hotel was ill prepared for our event. We had at least 200 people Friday evening, and they had only two bartenders at the main bar and in the beer pub/pizza restaurant, not enough waiters/waitresses. Again, the staff was awesome, just not enough to deal with the volume of people. I would have given 5 stars except for that, as this was a planned event. Rooms are really nice and is a great location, 10 minutes of walk from metro!

Sooooo close to five stars.

Knocked off a star because of the check out process. We were leaving early and concerned about some of the long check out lines we’d seen earlier in the week, so wanted to check out early but retain access to the room. Nope. Not possible. The first hotel that I’ve stayed at where this wasn’t possible. The front desk employee was also not particularly courteous when explaining this fact to us …

Otherwise, our eight night stay was great. We love this neighborhood - close to tons of great restaurants and bars, as well as multiple metros. Our room was good, well cleaned, and the elevators were miraculously responsive.

We would stay here again.
