WOW... What an epic experience for my 3 year old son. We would definitely recommend this establishment. It's right before the turn-off for Lake Mary. The staff is EXTREMELY friendly and helpful. We did the 20-minute trail ride loop. They let you(parent or whoever) lead a very gentle old horse while your child rides. Can't tell you the joy my entire family got watching our boy have his first horse experience. That's the other thing, they let my parents and wife walk along the trail with us for free. They have helmets in stock, at no charge if you don't bring your own! Helmets are mandatory, so make sure your kid is ok with them before you come. We will definitely be back for more fun!!!

I am so glad we did this! Not only is the location beautiful, but we got to ride the horses on a 2 hour ride up the mountain until we got to this beautiful scenic lake. It was very romantic for my husband and I to do as a couple. We did the 8am tour and it was a bit chilly but wear a light sweater and you should be fine. This is in late august too. The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. The horses we were assigned were extremely docile and gentle. Honestly, would come back again! When we returned we did see a family with small children preparing for a tour. They seemed well equipped and happy!

My daughter went on her own with a small group for one hour. They carefully selected a horse just for her. The guide was well informed and super friendly! Thanks to all the staff and to Party for the ride!

We wanted to do emerald lake but there was trees covering the trail so instead we did the heart lake in the morning and it was beautiful we saw a lot of deer. If there was one thing to complain about was to stay a little longer just looking at the lake it was beautiful!!

Really nice place took the 1 hrs ride for 45$ and was not disappointed. I had so much fun will definitely do again. If you want to come i highly recommend it. This was my first time riding and it was very easy!!

Great fun and a beautiful ride, but pricey at $45/hr per person, which made the 2 hour ride $180. By comparison, we went on a 3 hour whale watching tour in Monterey for $100 total.

Myself, wife and son (10 years) were able to sign up same day. Riley was a superb and outstanding guide. Very safe, patient and professional. My son was so comfortable with her, they talked for nearly the whole trip. A wonderful experience and lasting memory. Can't wait to come back. Thank you Riley and MLPO!

Took the 1.5 hour riding tour with my wife. We loved it and we've been horseback riding many times. I think this one was the best of all.
