Catered my wedding few year ago and realized I never left an official review!! Momma Gs food was SOOOO GOOOD! everyone talked about how good the food was. Her and her staff were so professional and easy to work with! Highly recommend ❤️

If I could give zero stars, I would! The team had a terrible attitude with my guests. As the bride, I asked that my guests be able to enjoy tea, lemonade, and water during the ceremony/reception (were both in same room), in which she replied that was perfectly fine. Come to.find out, my guests were told they could not have drinks until they got their plate. Guests arrived at 4:30, she made them wait until 6 pm to be able to drink anything. I asked for a buffet with pulled pork and fried chicken, green beans, au gratin potatoes, and a salad bar bc I wanted my guests to be able to choose what was put on their plate. Well, it did not go that way!! The guests were told they could only have one piece of chicken or one pulled pork sandwich with sides, that were in tiny portions. When everyone went through the line, some guests that were still hungry asked for seconds and were told NO! We paid her $3500 for the food.. and she was actually caught giving all our leftover food to a guy that snuck into the kitchen through the service elevator. Not only did they get caught with our food by my brother, but the guy that took our food gave my brother a sob story and TRIED GETTING MONEY FROM HIM!!!! Bizarre, uhh Yeah! But that's not even the end. They packed up all our food they denied our guests (which left some of my guests to leave my wedding to GO EAT!! Ridiculous!) and then complained to my mom that the guests wouldn't give them their glasses so they could pack up and leave AND THE GUESTS WERE STILL DRINKING OUT OF THEM!! We were only a couple hours into the wedding at that time. Gloria THEN promised us she would cut the cake before we hired her, and didn't do that either. When my mom went to the kitchen to let her know we were ready, she told her she was mopping the floor and that my mom could go ahead and cut it! FOR REAL?!!?! My cousin ended up cutting it for us since my mom was in a $250 gown and we didn't want her breaking that dress in by serving cake all night at her only daughter's wedding. As if the service couldn't get worse, she wanted to take the table cloths while the reception was still going on, bc again, we were only a couple hours into the wedding. When told "no" because we still had guests, she told us we need to drop them off to her, but she didn't know the address, just that it's on the corner of Starr St and some other street she couldn't remember the name of. Then, when I called her the next day to see if she remembered the address and confront her with everything, she told me I was a liar and had the most UNREAL excuses for her actions (such as, the guy that snuck up the service elevator was a homeless guy that told her he was hungry, so she packed up ALL the leftovers and sent them with him, funny thing is, when I confronted her with why my guests were refused leftovers, she initially claimed we ran out of food. Everything! Then, immediately after, I bring up the man that was caught taking our food down the service elevator and all of a sudden, we did have leftovers, i was supposedly lying about guests wanting seconds, and the guy was a homeless guy that coincidently straggled in right when the caterers were packing up and ready to leave) and then had the audacity to ask if I knew they were an all black catering company when I hired them. When I told her I was disgusted with her question and asked if she was trying to call me a racist, she said YES! I had "black people" at my wedding. Why she would have even asked me that was MIND BLOWING to me. Race has NEVER been something I have or will ever have issue with! Never been so irrate with a "company" in all my life. Far from professional. She would call at 9pm to ask me catering questions, one time even calling me at 10pm looking for "Demetri" asking if I got her messages. Unprofessional! BEWARE!!!! This story may sound too crazy to be true.. but it Is! We just had to meet her in Peoria to drop off her table cloths because she was pissed she couldn't take them before she left on my wedding night. DO NOT I repeat, DO NOT use them!!!
