Being my brothers first time at a haunted house, this experience was the best that I could ever imagine. The owner Scott and family, and the friendly staff were amazing . Over all the experience was all I could imagine and more. Definitely some good screams and almost whizzed my pants. 😂Gauentee we will go again.

If you are anywhere near Bartonville, IL, you must check this place out. The actors are phenomenal—committed to their roles and delivering authentic scares that catch you off guard. They skillfully use the space to create moments of genuine fear, and the pacing is perfect, with plenty of surprises lurking in unexpected places.

The layout of the haunted house has a cool design, giving a mix of claustrophobic passages and larger, open rooms that make you feel exposed. Each section of the house had a different themed, giving a different type of horror experience throughout.

This was a really great experience. Scare actors interacted with the line before entry into the house. The makeup was high quality and the actors all had unique characters who were both funny and scary. I appreciated the details that were put into the characters.

As for the house itself, I went during Blackout night. It was definitely very dark. Almost pitch black in many places. You are given a very tiny glow stick to help you see. The good news is that there aren't any stairs, slides, or extended claustrophobic areas as compared to other haunted houses. There is a very short claustrophobic area. Usual warnings for flashing lights and loud noises apply. Lots of jump scares. Very well done. The attention to detail is phenomenal and it was a fantastic time. 10/10 would be back.

I’ve went to aura twice this year and I think every time I went I freaked out and nearly felt like crying or maybe did😂 I think aura is alot better than most haunted houses tho and there on top of it everytime and they give you the best support ever and I couldn’t thank them enough

So good!! I’ve been to many haunted attractions. This one was is definitely top notch. I screamed the whole way through because I was so scared. The make up artist deserves as Oscar. Can’t wait to go back next year.

Definitely the best one in the area, dig the photo opps at the end and nicely put together. The actors work hard and do well. but I'm definitely a critic on big flashy scary stuff. They do well with what I would assume would be their budget. The 4/5 and 5/5 stars are held for Chicago area stuff.
