Great size rooms, a bit over air conditioned. Quiet except for street traffic. Would be nice to have more of a traditional bnb experience, or kitchen access, but lovely to have the common spaces and yard.

What a charming and comfortable Bed & Breakfast right in the heart of Suffield, CT! The rooms are beautiful, offering a variety of style spanning over 200 years (very interesting architectural history!). The food was delicious and quite inspired. They also warmly accommodated my gluten intolerant wife without any grief or even hint of annoyance. In fact, the owners were kind, inviting and an absolute joy to spend time with. I highly recommend a stay at the Lily House, whether during the warm summer, or the pristine, snow covered winter (like we did, actually DURING a snow storm!). For locals OR out-of-towners, the Lily House is the perfect place to stay! Thanks, Lorraine!!!

We had a wonderful stay and Lorraine, our host, was terrific! We will definitely be coming back.

The beds are comfy, the house is beautiful, and the breakfast was superb. Book your room now because they fill up fast!

My husband and I stayed here on two different nights this week and we had a lovely stay on both evenings. The owner, Lorraine, was such a sweet woman and was extremely hospitable. We had good conversation with her and her breakfast was delicious! Her home fries were some of the best I have ever had! If you are ever in the area, I would definitely recommend booking a room here.

My wife and I took a weekend trip to Connecticut and found Lily House. Lorraine and family were so welcoming and just wonderful. The house is beautiful, the rooms are very comfortable and breakfast was amazing. The location is perfect. Only a short drive from the highway, but far enough away that you feel like you are on a sleepy/cozy vacation in New England. I highly recommend this spot and know that we'll be back!

The cooking is homemade and incredible. Incredibly served in a gorgeous and beautifully furnished dinning room. Everything is very old fashioned looking and well decorated. Very 'homey'. The hosting is very well done and comfortable. They allow you to bring in alcohol you've purchased. The rooms are so very nice with large windows and there's even a suite. The outside is just as gorgeous with a wrap around porch with plenty of nice seating. Well gardened. Beautiful.

We stayed at the Lily House while attending the Eastern Equestrian Expo 2018. Although we never met face to face due to travel by both of us our hostess continually texted me with information and updates. The facility was beautiful and we felt right at home. My husband and I were there on a perfect fall weekend in the quintessential CT village. Perfect! We would recommend Lily House to any traveler.

Disregard previous positive reviews for this business. They were for the prior owners who transferred the business in late 2018. If Google Reviews allowed me to give no stars, I gladly would. Do not attempt to make a reservation on the website of the Lily House and prepay. I did so for a room. Despite charging my credit card for the full rate, Lily House contined to indicate the room was available on their reservation portal, allowing it to be booked by others. When I expressed concern via emails, asking for definite confirmation of my reservation, Lily House did not reply. Money pocketed, no room. Next step, a complaint to the Better Business Bureau.
