Great experience! First time in a helicopter and first time hog hunting—couldn’t be happier with the operation at Last Shadow. Very professional, prepared, and friendly. They work hard to make sure have a once in a lifetime experience. But after this trip, it may have to be at least twice in a lifetime. I wouldn’t hesitate to book with these guys again.

This company has zero moral foundation. They closed and opened our date multiple times. They ended up allowing us to book for Nov 1st. They didn't disclose the reason for the back and forth was because their helicopter crashed and been destroyed. You can find the crash log with a simple search.

Then, they cancelled on us the week we were flying into Texas for our trip. Stating they had blade maintenance that day. When requesting our money back to pursue other options, they stated they only give future flight credits. Obviously, coming from the other side of the country, not likely to happen. They have become unresponsive for our requests to receive the refund. They pointed us to their refund policy (that you don't receive until after you've given them 60% of the funds attached as a link when requesting the remaining 40%). It states they only will give you your cash in extreme circumstances. Very vague, I would assume not having a helicopter would be extreme. Apparently not.

We have sent demand letters with no luck. We are going to take them to court to get results.

No one should use this company. I would give a zero if I could. I have noticed reviews similar to my own going back 5+ years. Obviously, this is a reoccurring issue that points to horrible management and business practices.

I have flown with other texas crews and this was hands down the best! We flew in the MD600 Little Bird which was the best experience! This is a must do! Amazing adventure! took some clients was perfect!

Last Shadow is an extremely professional outfit and one heck of an amazing experience! I’ve gone up with them a handful of times and it never disappoints! Richard is an outstanding pilot and really makes it a memorable event every time we fly! He gets on the pigs and stays on them till the job is done! Heli hog hunting is a top notch bucket list item, so it just makes sense to do it with a top notch outfit! 5 stars all the way!

My brother and I went on a hunt in early May. We felt like we were taking advantage of because while we flew around in a helicopter, we never saw any hogs at all. We shot one coyote. For $6400 for the heli hunt plus airfare and hotels and meals, I could’ve just thrown $8000 out the window. The helicopter ride and personnel were nice, but as far as the hunting was concerned We both thought it sucked.

I have been on several hunts before but this blew them all out of the water. The entire staff is amazing, the weapons are top tier, the ride is entertaining, and the views are breathtaking. We only saw a few hogs on our trip because of the heat but we are going to go back during the winter. I hope they start offering a frequent flier program.

Booked a hunt for my better half and three of their friends as an anniversary present. Not only was this the only place I found that could take all four people to hunt at the same time, Last Shadow had the most "down-to-earth" customer service when helping me book and schedule. They were extremely cordial and certainly did not have that typical "gun store service" vibe that I usually get when shopping for gifts for my husband. So, searching and booking complete -the day finally arrived for their hunt: from the stories and videos shown, my husband's little clan had a blast! I've never seen full grown men so giddy. My husband and his friends have all since individually re-booked separate hunts with Last Shadow and we'll definitely need to save up for the coming years now. If you're looking for a cool gift for your husband and his friends -look no further than Last Shadow.

My husband and sons went on a 2 -our helicopter hog hunt with Last Shadow - Richard as the pilot with Ashley helping. All had a great time. They chased down hogs through farm fields and along creeks, and successfully took out at least a dozen of these invasive species. "We want to go back next year!" "That was awesome!"
