Very interesting National Park. Several major forest fires have decimated parts of it, but there are still lots and lots of trees. Lots of lakes; Beautiful waterfall; Still snow on the upper elevations; Lots of beautiful wild flowers; Good explanation of the vocanoes.

Always a great area to run away for the day or weekend. Many different areas to hike and rest along a creek bend somewhere. To be relaxed and have a peaceful day to get away. ⛰️ You are NOT allowed to pick or take any the Snow Plants, given it's the law. They're really pretty unique, bright red looking flower. You can't miss it. We come to this area as often as we can just for the nature feeling and beautiful views.

Such a good time! We camped for 5 days and it wasn't enough time to fully enjoy this park. Hike, get lost in nature, swim, fish, volcanos, caves, waterfalls... Just go and enjoy yourselves!

Very beautiful the lake is Fuller than it has ever been all the way up to the tree line the . Do not mis out on a once in a lifetime view , environment with the most beautiful view as Lassen sits in the back drop with snow still on it.

A so welcome rest full of trees. We stopped here in our way back to Washington from a long winter in the Sonoran desert. Oh how we missed the trees. The smell of cedar and fir mixed with the sound of That creek during runoff season was perfect. A wonderful secluded place in the spring. The traffic on the nearby highway was null and non existent at night. Absolute heaven....

Calm, serine, cooler and quiet here at Battle Creek Reservoir near Lassen. There is a PGE campground but we dry camped along the road to Lake. 13 miles to Park entrance

One of my best friend's son is named Lassen Peake after the mountain. I shared my experience with them. Unfortunately it was cloudy but fun. It was nice to compare to the volcanoes from my home state of Washington.
