When selecting a wedding venue, my husband and I were looking for a place where all of our guests could stay together and enjoy the natural beauty of the lake. Lake Shore Village Resort exceeded our expectations in every way. The communication with their coordinator, Sarah, was efficient, helpful, and quick throughout the planning process. She provided wonderful suggestions and guidance to tailor the weekend to our needs and desires. The quality of their work and the overall value was outstanding - the venue was beautifully decorated, had a wonderful community-oriented and fun vibe, and provided a serene and playful environment for us and our guests to relax and enjoy the lake activities like kayaking, paddle boarding, and fishing. Everyone was so comfortable in the lovely lake houses, and we all had an incredible time bonding together by the water. We could not have asked for a more perfect wedding weekend at Lake Shore Village Resort.

Visited here in mid October for a family wedding. Amazing stay — absolutely beautiful scenery, a good variety of facilities and entertainment, great pancakes for breakfast, and very warm and helpful staff!
(Psst…I left my two stuffed animals in the unit. The owner and his staff were kind enough to go out of their way, find the stuffed animals when cleaning the room, and have them mailed back to me. Can’t appreciate that more.)

We stayed at Lake Shore Villages for a wedding. What a beautiful resort. The lake and beach area are great for children. We swam, used the canoes and paddle boards. There is also a pickle ball court. Our unit was large and beautiful with a kitchen. Michael and Leif were super helpful. My nephew wanted to fish and Michael was so kind to lend us some fishing gear!!
Remember to bring food etc as a the closest supermarket is over 20 minutes away.
We definitely will go back.

Just a flat out great time so with so much to do without all the hustle & bustle of too many people. Planned activities throughout the week such as ice cream social or a lakeside lobster cookout paired with endless opportunities regardless of the weather. From lake activities (boating, paddle boards, kayaks, etc) to an indoor heated pool (just in case) to pickleball courts. This place has you covered. Just a great place to get away with family or couples. Heck they even host weddings!

We stayed here for my son's wedding Labor Day weekend 2024. It was the most beautiful place I have seen, Sarah was extremely friendly and kept everyone on track, I highly recommend this place, we had the best experience ever ❤️, thank you Lakeshore village it was wonderful

This resort and wedding venue was an absolute dream. Between the “destination wedding” feel, the lake, the cabins, the tent itself - you truly feel as though you are in a fantasy land. The staff is incredible and has their wedding weekend process down to a tee. It is a family run resort and you truly feel like family when you are there and throughout the planning process. We were skeptical about the cabin assignments and vendor coordination but all of the additional “stress” was easily worth it to experience this resort. All of our guests were blown away by the homes and the weekend. Some of them stating “the best wedding {they’ve}ever attended”. I can’t say enough about this venue and the staff, specifically Sarah, the coordinator & Michael, the owner. You will NOT be disappointed if you choose to have your wedding in this special place.

Wonderful spot for a wedding. Cabin was just as expected, very clean.|The only CON was the terrain, we had elderly guests that had a terrible time maneuvering around the grounds. Steep loose gravel driveways, They also had a hard time getting to their seats for the nuptials on the beach. One guest did have a nasty fall on the gravel. |Lot's of wooden stairs which became extremely slippery with the rain.|We were told golf carts would be available, none were available.|Please do better.

Lake Shore Village Resort is the most amazing wedding venue. If you have a chance to get married there, take it! Every single second of our wedding was a blast from the moment we arrived on Thursday until we left on Sunday afternoon. Gathering all of your favorite friends and family in one place for a weekend is the most special experience we've every had. All of our friends and family told us it was the best wedding they've ever been to. Starting your welcome party on Friday night gives you so much more time to spend with your favorite people, and there are so many great things to do from kayaking to beach fires, to having the best dance party.

Susan was the most helpful wedding coordinator. She's professional, communicative, and so detail oriented. She takes care of every single detail, making your special day feel easy and flawless. Susan is so sweet, helpful, kind and easy to work with. She has a special way of making each and every one of your wedding guests feel welcome and accommodated.

We had the most fun/magical wedding weekend, and all I can say is make sure you get an amazing photographer because you're going to want to remember every detail.
