Very unhappy about the condition of this room. A toilet that did not flush correctly. Digital door lock that did not open or LOCK correctly all the time. Broken shower handle. Trash on bathroom floor. Broken window screens. Gas grill in dirty, unclean and poor condition. Very dirty and broken porch furniture. Electrical outlet that pulled out of the wall when removing a charging plug. Porch canopy that collapsed. Dirty drain sink fixtures. Pots and pans dirty or have Teflon missing and scratched. Did not use the grill or cook any meals here. Owner or Host new about problems with the toilet not flushing correctly and problems with digital door lock not opening and locking all the time before we got there. And failed to address the issues. I have a screen shot texted message showing this. I barricaded the digital locking door every night. Plumber show up on Thursday morning after we had gone out on to the lake. We had to head back to the room to meet him. Locksmith was coming on Friday. Between 12 noon and 2pm. We were leaving Saturday morning so we cancelled him. We didn't want to lose any more time on the lake. I also waited around all Wednesday morning waiting find out when repairmen would show up. THIS WAS ADVERTISED AS "RECENTLY RENOVATED CONDO" VRBO stated this wasn't enough evidence to support my claim.

This place is a joke. One toliet doesn’t flush, there’s a hole in the wall, surfaces are dirty, and best of all, the door doesn’t lock at all. The most basic of expectations are not met and this hotel is not worth more than $60/night regardless of season.

Spent 1T0 great days here in one of their cottages. Cottages are a little rustic but clean and comfortable. Everything we needed for right there and if it wasn't the office would provide it. The bunk beds in the second bedroom were a little small (fine for children). The beach was clean and sandy and there were plenty of chairs for the guests. We had a fire in the fire pit every night. Pets are allowed and our little Shih Tzu loved her vacation. Plenty of room to run and she was allowed on the beach and the dock. The owners were very accommodating, helpful and friendly. We would recommend this to anyone. There were families there and the children had a great time swimming, fishing, kayaking and toasting marshmallows.

The Lakeshore Motel & Cabins provide rustic summer fun for everyone! The cabins have a well-stocked kitchen with no oven, but all the other necessities are there. Each cabin has its own grill right outside the front door. The beds are extremely comfortable. (We did not use the futon in the living room as a bed but that would have been a rough night sleep I think.) The beach is small but lovely and the fire pit is a smores must! Bring beach toys. They sell firewood on site for the best price in the area. The bathroom in cabin four is the only part needing an upgrade. It's clean, but old. The information binder in the cabin provide lots of information about the area and things to do. The employees were very friendly and helpful. There is a large grassy area which can be fun for kickball or another fun family game.

Staying here spoiled my entire vacation! It is not as advertised. First of all, website states “under new management.” Owners told me they have owned it for 7 years. Also states “air conditioned.” The cottage I stayed in had a window unit in one bedroom and that was all. No air conditioning in any of the other rooms. “Free” internet did not work. T.V. only worked half the time. Now for the bad news. Torn and dirty screens and filthy curtains. I wiped everything down with antibacterial wipes because everything felt sticky. Poor drainage in the grass area leading to the lake. Grass always soppy and wet. I had other family members staying there as well and they were all unhappy. I felt so bad that I recommended this place to them. I ended up leaving early and forfeiting the rest of my payment. I could not stand one more day there.

Stayed in a room for a weekend in mid September. Great value for the money. The room was clean, with new furniture. Small bathroom. Kitchenette area with a coffee maker, microwave, sink and stove top. Anna was very friendly and helpful. Shared use of a grill. Small beach with room for a dozen or so boats to tie up. A/C, tv and free WIFI were great. Would definitely stay here again.

I'm not sure who paid the people here who gave this place 5 stars. Something fishy. I think I'm being generous giving them 3 stars.

We stayed in one of the motel units. The good news: Fairly clean and freshly painted, micro-kitchenette so we could prepare our own breakfasts.

Now the bad news: Not very well kept up. Teeny tiny bathroom. Both the shower and kitchen faucets dripped. The little box AC unit made a racket so couldn't be used while sleeping, The fire extinguisher was discharged. Every door squeaked. The windows hadn't been washed in years. The curtain was falling out of its track. Parking required maneuvering to get in or out.

My recommendation is to pay more and stay somewhere else.

We stayed in cottage 5 and frankly I was a bit disappointed when I first saw the accommodation; the fixtures were very tatty and needed attention. However, the kitchen, abundant linens, comfy bed etc were spotless and all the amenities we needed for our stay were provided. ||||The location on the lake is wonderful and relaxing and we spoke to people that had been returning to for several years! ||||We were able to park right next to the cottage plus the nearest supermarket and restaurant were an easy 10 minute walk away.
