The best way to see and experience Tuscany is with KM Zero Tours. We did two tours with my family of 10 (ages 26-61). They were truly the highlights of our trip and had I known they were so awesome, I might have booked another one. I can’t say enough good things about communication with Arianna, the engaging and professional drivers and our amazing hosts at the venues. We were able to experience Italy away from all the crowds and be immersed into small towns and local cheese making farms, olive oil farms and small wineries. We were treated to increíble lunches and fantastic service. The tours are worth every penny and I highly highly recommend them! We would definitely use KM zero tours again should we were to find ourselves in Tuscany again.

Castellina was very cool! Mattia walked us around and gave us lots of history and info on the area. He also got us into a wine cellar there for a quick look.

Natalie and her family at Podere Paugnano were amazing. The food was absolutely incredible. It was really special to have lunch with her and her family and be treated just like family.

The visit to Il Bacio was also amazing - Franco was extremely kind and full of knowledge. It was an absolute pleasure to sit and talk with him about wine of course, but also about life and travel. An incredible guy and absolutely delicious vino!

Arianna provided excellent communication from first contact thru final follow up. Our 3 customized tours in the Tuscany area were some of the best memories of our almost 6-week vacation. We had a wonderful day with our guide, Marco. He was warm, caring, and an excellent driver! We visited 2 places: a cheese making farm with a fabulous luncheon and a farm that makes olive oil, honey, and wine. There we had olive oil and honey tastings. Both establishments had wonderful hosts that gave us interesting and engaging tours of their working farms. Arianna, of KM Zero Tours, was very responsive to all our questions and needs concerning this tour and we would highly recommend her company and this experience.

Day one included late morning visit and welcome lunch at the family- owned Vernaccia di San Gimignano winery; then an afternoon visit to San Gimignano with an evening visit to Badia a Passignano and sunset apericena (magnificent!)

Day two was a fresh pasta making class at a lovely family-owned farm with homemade lunch followed by an afternoon visit to Greve in Chianti and EVOO tasting in town at Pruneti’s.

Day three included a visit to Certaldo and a visit to Montemorli winery with lunch. In the afternoon a visit to Monteriggioni.

Our private guides, Lorenzo, Mattia and Tania were fabulous, very patient, and kind. They each shared a wealth of knowledge about all the places we visited. They truly enhanced our experience!

Our visit to a Tuscan pecorino farm was probably our favorite part of our entire trip to Italy! Nico, our driver from KM Zero, was a great guide and we had lovely conversations with him on our ride. Natalie at the sheep farm was so welcoming and gave us a wonderful tour of the farm and cheesemaking areas and a GORGEOUS lunch. Thank you for a fabulous tour!

We experienced home cooking classes, vineyards (including grape stomping!), olive oil company, pecorino cheese farm, crystal factory, small towns and villages , wine festival and the most wonderful farmhouse accommodations with the best hosts. We were treated like family at each excursion and tasted the best home food with Italian families. We were picked up in Florence and were provided transportation throughout our stay. We felt more like family than customers! Our daily breakfast with the Tuscan Hills as our background were breathtaking. Everything with KM Zero was first class. You will not find a better deal for your money and walk away feeling like Tuscany is your second home. We loved it and so will you! A real life Under The Tuscan Sun experience!
