Phil and Vanessa are very friendly. They make sure all their campers are safe and happy. It's back to nature with tent sites. And very accommodating camper sites. Beautiful setting. And a pool to keep cool in. Although falling asleep to the sound of the babbling brook is heaven on earth.

This campground was not ready to open in mid-May. The owner was using a front loader and leaf-blower frequently, chain-sawing at 5:30 AM in violation of his own "Campground Rules". We likewise found that excessive use of alcohol/drugs by neighbors (also in violation of the "Rules") with blaring music, was acceptable as well. We were told by the owner that he "didn't care what people did on their site, as long as it stayed on their site". We failed to understand how blaring music for hours kept it "on their site". However, we chose not to pursue our issues further. If you want to party, this is the place for you! Not the best choice for those seeking quiet or perhaps those with children. It's a shame because the location is attractive and the sites quite spacious.

We booked months before coming to this campground for the first time and what a beautiful campground it is. We hate camping in sites where you are packed on like sardines. You know what I mean there is no privacy but this place has beautiful spacious large sites. The owners Phil and Ness are the most gracious people I ever met and are so helpful. I would most definitely recommend this place to anyone who enjoys the great outdoors. We will be coming here more often.
Update: We actually ended up getting a seasonal the year and totally enjoyed the quietness of this camp and renewed our seasonal. We ended up bringing up my Dad and Uncle here for a visit (both are retired Vets) and they both loved it here and still continue to praise their stay.
As for the negative comments? Abide by the rules like any other campground in the United States and you will never have a problem....that easy
This is a nice and peaceful place to stay and we love it

Nice clean camp, beautiful brook and a good size pool for the kids. Cool chainsaw carvings to be discovered all over. Nice trails and song birds brightening up the mornings and evenings.

We had such a nice stay at Jacob's Brook Campground. The owners were extremely responsive when requesting reservations and asking questions. Firewood was delivered to our spot so we didn't have to carry it ourselves. The bathrooms were clean, had plenty of tp and hand soap. When I visit the area again I will definitely be staying here! Thanks for making our vacation so nice!

We wanted to test out our camper and this new to us campsite in late May. One morning it was 32 degrees and we wanted to take hot showers. Did not realize it required quarters to run. After two trips back to campsite for quarters, could not make either of our showers work. Got dressed in the shower for the second time, freezing, and marched off to office. The main complaint was lack of instructions in the showers to make them work. When I commented that it would have been nice to know they needed quarters, was told that info is on the website. I was given more explicit instructions for trying again (not intuitive), after losing 4 quarters between the two of us. Followed her instructions and yes, water came out. I blew through two more quarters waiting for hot water. Froze my arm off testing repeatedly (including adjusting the hot/cold lever) but it never got hot. Neither did the water in bathroom sinks ever get hot. Neither of us got showers. I am sure they will have turned on the hot water eventually. It is a nice campground, though I hate hearing the semi's on I-91 during the night.

Sadly, what should have been a good visit, turned sour, because of a innocent oversight. The owner clearly overreacted. We apologized but he treated us like criminals, using threats and false accusations. So sad, we won't return. It's a nice, convenient campground. The lady who originally helped us was very pleasant. Be sure to only deal with her.

Place is beautiful, unfortunately the owners are not pleasant. We been here a few times and they are nice one minute and rude the next. Heard him yelling at other guests once when he could have easily taken them aside. I noticed you have to catch the owner at a certain peek of his intoxication or he’s a real rude dude. They turn down water pressure when it’s close to your leave. Now they are complaining about electric usage. The campground itself is nice and quaint, but these fools kind of ruin the experience. We stopped going there because they themselves outweigh any and all of the good positive things.
