I know the Muncy's personally for many years and their home at Iona is not only beautiful, but a peace resides there that will give any person the rest they seek. Robert and Linda are the perfect hosts and are always warm, friendly, and inviting. They are very special, as is Iona Stables & Inn. We love visiting them and also sharing a meal when we can. It's always a bright spot in our year.

Bob and Linda Muncy are the very definition of hospitality and accommodation. I’ve stayed at the Iona Stables and Inn three times now, and have never failed to feel anything but welcomed. While Bob is a retired minister he has found his second calling as a very accomplished chef! Breakfast each morning is always a cornucopia of choices and delicious flavors. ||On my most recent visit, I had a very strict dietary restriction. Not only did the Muncy’s accommodate my request, they made me the absolutely most delicious gluten-free (I know… ugh!) muffins I’ve ever eaten… seriously. ||The Inn is located on a working farm and therefore relatively secluded. Lots of privacy if that’s what you seek. However, Bob and Linda are always happy to engage in conversation. They seem genuinely interested in learning about your story. And if you should ever return, they remember details and want to know what has happened in your life since your last visit.||The accommodations are comfortable and quaint. This is after all their primary residence. The inn feels lived in but not precious, not stuffy. I highly recommend the Inn for those looking to escape the big city or those who are traveling up and down the East coast and want to explore what Delaware has to offer. ||Five Stars!|⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️

This place is off the charts excellent. A secluded location, yet close to a number of critical destinations. The house offers a relaxing environment, and the sunsets are incredible. The hosts are amazing, catering to you and providing great suggestions for everything local. Breakfast is crazy good, on level with any upscale restaurant. Highly recommended!!

This place is a hidden gem. Very inviting, relaxing with excellent care for our horses. Linda and Bob made sure we had everything we needed. Bob is an excellent cook. Can't wait to make a return visit.

We had a great time here for a summer long weekend trip and were able to spend time with family camping nearby. The place is quite homey and they were very good with my husband's food allergies (dairy, nuts). We'd stay again if in the area.

This isn’t just a room, this was an experience. We stayed two nights for a lacrosse tournament at the turf fields. Rooms were great, breakfast was wonderful, and the hosts are just great people. We can’t wait to come back when it’s juts my husband and I.

I have never felt more at home at an Air Bnb than at Iona. The hosts are amazing, the property is beautiful, and the attention to detail while you stay is above and beyond. I will definitely be back. The morning breakfast time with the owners was tremendous. You will not be disapointed

Robert and Linda were terrific hosts and the added bonus of splendid breakfasts. The inn in comfortable, welcoming, and beautiful. Is quiet and remote, yet not too far to beaches, shopping, and other Delaware treats. Am looking forward to my next stay. Highly recommended.
