I put down a $200 deposit to host a family party at my communities clubhouse on 10/20/24. Instead of holding my deposit like an normal company would, these idiots actually deposited my check, basically taking a 0% interest loan from me. My family party was over 2 weeks ago and they still have not returned my money to me, even though they have assured me the money is coming (sure it is). The communication of Elizabeth Dorsey and April Gravely have been horrendous. I wouldn't trust these people to manage a popsicle stand, let alone a company that manages HOA's. How hard is it to give someone their money back in a timely fashion? I mean they have no problem taking direct deposits from me to pay my HOA dues every quarter, but it's clearly too complicated of a task for April and Elizabeth to be able to figure out. Or all of this could have been avoided, if you just held the check instead of cashing it, then you could have just mailed it back to me or voided it. Wow, what a genius concept that a child could figure out, but is too overwhelmingly complex fo the people at HPS management. If anyone out there is deciding on which company they should use to manage their HOA, I would recommend staying far away from this company. They don't even have the mental capacity to return a deposit in a timely fashion. Side note, when you submit claims for additions to your home, they send an email stating they will forward to the board, but surprise! they don't do that either. This makes me wonder why we are actually paying this company at all when I could probably...no...easily train an AI prompt to do the job of everyone at this company.

Daph was a great help to me as the intermediary between my HOA and me. She answered all of my questions promptly and interceded on my behalf when requested to do so. If it were not for her, I would be left in the dark as my ARC request took an unacceptable amount of time to approve. She kept me informed and kept the lines of communication open.

As a Board member, I am pleased we moved to HPS for our condo management. Hector is responsive and on top of things in a way we never experienced with our prior management company. Thanks to Ms. McKnight for explaining what's going on with our HOA of Clearview Meadows. Some of us were thinking of getting things looked over by a lawyer. We didn't like nor understood the purpose of the monthly increase of $25. It was also stated that some homeowners have not paid their HRA since 2015 and somehow we would have to make up the difference. Hopefully, with your continued efforts of communications, the neighborhood will be more pleasing to look at when we open our curtains!
