Our experience with Lake Mead Mohave Adventures as part of the Pink Jeep Hoover Dam Top to Bottom Tour was absolutely incredible! The breathtaking views of the mountains and Lake Mead set the tone for the adventure, and we were even lucky enough to spot big horn sheep along the way.

After a quick stop at the Hoover Dam Lodge, which was clean and perfect for a restroom break and souvenir shopping, the tour shifted to a more exclusive experience. We were picked up by Esteban from Lake Mead Mohave Adventures, who took us down a private, secret road that requires high-level clearance. The feeling of exclusivity was undeniable, and the road ended right at the bottom of the river, making it all the more exciting.

At the river, we met our guide, Sahara, who led us on the "Postcard" tour—a 90-minute pontoon boat ride down the river. Sahara was amazing: knowledgeable, funny, and extremely accommodating. She went out of her way to make sure everyone was comfortable, providing hydration stations, cold towels, and snacks to keep us refreshed in the heat.

The boat ride itself was a highlight, offering stunning views of scenic caves and the river. Sahara shared fascinating insights about the history of the Hoover Dam, making the trip educational as well as fun. There were plenty of opportunities for photos, and the guides were more than happy to capture the perfect shot. We even got to step off the boat, walk around, and dip our toes in the cool water—a refreshing and peaceful moment that added to the charm of the tour.

This tour is perfect for families and accommodates both small and large groups. The snacks and unlimited water provided were much appreciated, especially in the hot desert climate. I highly recommend bringing sneakers, water shoes (optional), comfortable clothing, sunglasses, a hat, sunscreen, and of course, a camera! The tour guides are great photographers and know all the best spots to take photos. A small backpack is also useful for carrying your essentials.

Overall, the Lake Mead Mohave Adventures tour was an unforgettable experience, offering the perfect mix of adventure, relaxation, and learning. Whether you're traveling with family or friends, it's a fantastic way to see the Hoover Dam and its surrounding beauty from a unique perspective.

Don’t want to rent a boat or kayak when you’re at Hoover Dam!? Then look no further than Hoover Dam Rafting Adventures! I went as part of the Pink Jeep Hoover Dam Top to Bottom tour. From the time we were picked up from our shuttle bus and we got to the raft was such an amazing experience. Not only will you get some spectacular views but you will also be greeted with the nicest people ever.

Sarah was the best guide and was so knowledgeable, funny and sweet. She showed us amazing views of the dam, waterfalls, caves and so much more. Can’t wait to do the tour again.

What a great trip! Sarah was our guide and she was fantastic! We've taken tours all across the U.S. and this trip definitely rates at the top! Learned so much and got some great photos. Any one can see the Hoover Dam from the front, not many can see it from the other side, it was a unique experience! Everyone on the entire team was excellent from the person that helped with the reservation to the drivers that took us to the dam and the one that took us to and from Las Vegas.

I truly cannot say enough about this tour company & destination! It is a Vegas MUST when visiting. I’ve been to the Hoover Dam before many times but not like this. Pink Jeep picked us up and we rode out in a very comfortable tour trekker vehicle enclosed with A/C and large seats & windows. Our guide was John and he was amazing! He talked to us about all sorts of interesting facts, landscape & history along the way. We stopped in the charming town of Boulder City to see the Hoover Dam Museum (which was awesome!) Had a restroom break, water & snacks. Then made our way to the Hoover Dam Lodge. Inside was so cool! Gift shop, restrooms, restaurants, etc. Then we made our way to the Dam. The driving views alone were incredible! We took a windy road down to the bottom of the Dam to meet our Hoover Dam Rafting Adventures guide & float. Esteban was our driver & Sarah was our float guide for the day and she was safety first & super sweet! We received a goodie bag filled with water, apple & cookies. We stayed hydrated on tour with plenty of extra water. Sarah showed us the entire Hoover Dam and Colorado River from the bottom and it was extraordinary!! There were caves, waterfalls, palm trees, plants, different birds, colorful alge and a variety of fish. The water was colored this beautiful blue/green and you could see through it. The water temp was a cool 60 degrees (perfectly chilled) and the weather was a high 80 day but down below a little warmer. When the wind hit, it felt great and every now and then you could feel a light spritz of the water as you traveled through the canal. Incredible Mountain Views, history & overall one absolutely amazing tour! I highly recommend seeing the Hoover Dam from Top to Bottom! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

An amazing tour! I loved the raft it was large and comfortable, the tour guides are extremely friendly, knowledgeable & entertaining! The tour is filled with information and incredible views of the Hoover Dam. I would absolutely go again!

Nice easy 3hr river float. This is the only tour company that has security access, to launch at the Base of the Hoover Dam. All staff excellent. Chips, turkey wrap, cookie, apple, and water provided in a keepsake souvenir lunch bag. Cooling towels, extra water, and a chance to take a quick dip in the river is offered. A restroom break and opportunity to purchase snacks & Gatorade is given before and after entering the river. There are no restrooms on the raft, except the river itself. I came wearing my bathing suit, cheap water socks, large brim hat, long sleeve quick drying swimming shirt, some suntan lotion and waterproof phone holder. I also brought a change of clothes, shoes and small towel in a small plastic bag. We were given a just few minutes after exiting the river, for a very quick change. Hydrate the morning of the trip and do a small amount of prep, will make the heat bearable.
Last, scenery, staff, equipment, tour organization all first class. Recommend

Wow what a great time. The drivers and tour guides were amazing and the two hour hour postcard tour was well worth the price. I would do it again and do the full there’s hour tour. It’s a must do!
