Was heading home to Memphis from Chicago and stopped by Harold's chicken, first off Bleu the owner was very nice with a lot of hospitality. Second the chicken was sooooooo good seasoned to the T . I will be back when I'm ever in town next time looking for me some sweet tea or some red kool aid (game charger). The cook did her thang! Two black women changing taste buds around the world 🌎😋. The restaurant was very clean and well decorated.

I'm a little late. Just made it to Harold's. Everything was great, service was great. Food fresh and hot. Ladies were so nice and accommodating. I would definitely come back. Thanks for bringing us a Harold's.
FYI, the complaint about the taking of the card over the phone saves them as well. They cook to order and what if that customer orders and never shows up. A waste of their money and food. However there is an option to come in order then pay. I was really impressed today.

Pretty standard chicken place. Food was good, sauces were great. Out of cole slaw pretty early in the day.. was there around 1pm. Some things on the menu weren't available yet. Definitely needs more than one worker for lunchtime... Quoted 15 minutes but it took about 25 minutes. Next time I'll be sure to order ahead. Super friendly worker though!

My husband and I decided we wanted Harolds chicken for dinner, we go to the one located at 275 so. Main st. In Bourbonnais 17min from our home, We order an 18 piece wing, large fry and a gizzard, after paying i asked didn't i need a receipt the young man says no I'll remember, we get our food and head out, we get home I open the bucket to find old dried out chicken, I pack this bucket back up and me and hubby go back to the restaurant, I tell the young lady whos sitting at the table with the young man. That the chicken was old, she immediately becomes. Irate and argumentative, telling me that the chicken was fine and that we had been gone for hours and that that probably changed the composition of the chicken, keep in mind we live 17min from there, total turn around time was 34min. her companion chimed in with his opinion, the young lady makes a call and she's telling some one that there was nothing wrong with the chicken and that they shouldnt redo my whole bucket, the person on the phone tells her to take a picture I say yes take a picture of it, she walks away to speak in private, never takes picture. she comes back out and says she was going to redo my bucket, (side note) you can't see her prepare your food like most Harolds' she brings the bucket out and says how do these look, I say yes these look good, I apologized to her if I'd upset her and explained i need my food done right for my money, she says no problem we wished each other a good night, my hubby says jokingly 'now don't get home and find them same old wings underneath, well that's just what happened ! I wondered why as we were getting into the car I turned to see them both laughing hysterically, I was furious after finding those old dried up greasy wings covered up by about 5 fresh wings! Iwanted to take them right back up there and get my money. but my husband said he didn't feel like going back. It's sad when you try to support black business this is what you get, our dog enjoyed them though. I would post pictures but this app doesn't offer that.

One word peeps; FRESH! Harold’s chicken of Bourbonnais #39 is THEE best chicken in town. I recommend you call FIRST, before going, unless you have time. All orders are COOK TO ORDER, and you must pay first. Can you blame them?! I ordered a chicken tender meal with mild sauce and it was banging delicious! The mild sauce was freaking TASTY! Smelt so good it left a lingering smell everywhere. My tenders were soo Juicy, hot, FRESH and tender babyyyyy. My bread was soaked in all the mild sauce with fries on top! Just how I like it!! You will NOT be disappointed the chicken is too GOODT! Go get you some!

I don’t know who owns this Harold’s but today is January 31,2025 8:33pm as god is my witness the two little rude gals/guys that was working that was so damn rude and I mean rude to where somebody would’ve snatched them over the counter the way they were talking to me and then carried on in the back also like nobody can hear them they were so rude I stood in there and made this review since of course there’s never an owner or adult present and if they were adults they need to be taught customer service etiquette or something!!! And I pray they didn’t play with my food & it’s cooked correctly in Jesus name AMEN! It’s so sad and im a very very unhappy and unsatisfied customer

Worst chicken I've ever bought, I've had better BBQ sauce from Kroger, and an unbelievably long wait time.

I came here at around 12:30. There were two people in front of me (the drive thru was closed) so it wasn't even all that busy.
