I was recommended it, but the couple treated us very poorly, I don't know if it's because we're not from the community, even though we traveled from far away and my daughters left sad for not seeing the animals or knowing what they offer according to their posts. Three hours of travel, please, don't go.

We stayed here overnight in our RV via Harvest Hosts. We had an absolutely incredible time!! Gus (owner) is a wonderful, super friendly guy and is awesome with kids. He gave us a tour of the entire farm and my daughters (3 and 6) got to see and touch piglets, chickens, goats, sheep, an alpaca... They were THRILLED! We also met Toby the friendly sheep - he joined us for the rest of the tour, trotting along like a dog and our girls snuggled him and fed him. Very cool. We learned SO much about farms. This morning we woke with the rooster's call and ate the freshest eggs I've ever tasted. Then we collected eggs from the henhouses and my girls begged to stay another day. 😂

All of the animals here are truly happy and we can't wait to enjoy the free-range meat and 4 dozen eggs we purchased here. They make/ grow absolutely everything from the plants the animals eat to the spices used in the chicken patties and sausages. (Side note, the animals you meet at the ranch yield eggs, wool, etc. They're not for eating - those animals are at a different location up the road.) HIGHLY recommend a stop at Happy Life Ranch!!

BTW you can come pick up eggs any time. The store is behind the house and there's a place to leave money. $4/ dozen or $10 for 3 dozen. Fresh eggs don't require refrigeration so stock up!!! Thank you so much Gus for your awesome hospitality!!! We'll definitely be back!

Went there for some meat. Got Ox tails and a beef tongue. Quality is amazing and the price were awesome for local farmer meat. Will definitely be a repeat customer. Very friendly.

We have been getting our meet from Happy Life ranch for about 2 years now. Not only do they have the best quality meat but they also open their doors and welcomed us in like we have been friends for a lifetime. They also welcome us to bring our 3 kids to their farm to teach them where our food comes from and how to have fun on the farm. It’s beautiful to be around good REAL people who value life, family, and healthy food/delicious like we do.

Happy Life Ranch is absolutely amazing. The eggs and meat are great quality. The family is so nice and they don’t mind educating their customers on how they process everything. They were even nice enough to give my kids a tour of the property. We are so blessed to have found them.

The most amazing wonderful place and family business.Gus and Melissa are so caring and genuine. Everything I've gotten from them has been unbelievable!!!! And I can tell you this,I will never buy store bought eggs again! I bake allot and those golden yolks can't be beat

This is the second year that Gus and Happy Life have hosted a training event for the organization I'm a part of, and let me say that I make the drive from Tennessee to Illinois just as much for the food as I do the training and companionship.

Y'all, I'm from a "Farm to Table" town. You can't throw a rock in the Middle Tennessee area without hitting a restaurant that does Farm to Table, and Happy Life has some of the best food I have ever eaten. And it is 100% Farm to Table. No steroids or hormones, no bleach baths, none of that.

I promise you, if you have never had food outside of a supermarket, do yourself a favor and get some from Happy Life.
