Very fun experience! It was super cool to learn about the history Shakers has, and it was definitely spooky!! Worth every penny that was spent there, I will most likely be back sometime in the future to try out the Tour 2.0. A lot of sensitive topics were brought up including stories about what happened inside of the brothel. Elizabeth did an amazing job keeping us up to date with the story and making us feel cared for. She told us stories from her own experience and things others have experienced. Loved every second of the tour, would do it again!

Very interesting. So much cool and creepy history. Did not know Milwaukee had all this f$@*ed up history. Joe our host was awesome. Kept us engaged and was so friendly. When you walk into shakers it’s like walking into the past. The floors are original and the atmosphere is enticing and exotic. We did the ghost tour 2.0. We are going back again to book the Milwauking dead tour. Would so recommend for history lovers, ghost advocates, and something to do on a Saturday night.

I can't even describe how much fun our group had on 1/29/25.
Kevin Labriola was an amazing tour guide. He was knowledgeable, engaging, conscientious, professional and, above all, absolutely entertaining.
We couldn't have asked for a better evening out at Shakers, and I will absolutely be back.

My wife and I love a good ghost tour, and that's exactly what we had at Shaker's Cigar Bar. Do we EXPECT to actually see ghosts? No. Do we HOPE to? Always! Did we get our wish this time? Maybe.... First and foremost, we got an excellent history lesson from our guide, Christopher. He's super knowledgeable regarding the building's and area's history and related it to us in a way that kept our attention and actually brought us back in time as we walked through the building learning about what happened there. At the same time, his storytelling kept us feeling the spooky atmosphere; we expected to see spiritual activities at any time. In fact, as Christopher was telling us about the shadow people rumored to be seen there, I swear I caught sight of one out of the corner of my eye while we were touring the basement. It wasn't there when I turned toward it, but it left me feeling chilled and a little excited about maybe finally experiencing something supernatural. Long story short, go take this tour! The history is fascinating, the guide is phenomenal, the atmosphere is creepy and cool, and the drinks are aplenty! Go sit on the rooftop afterwards and have some drinks or smokes... And maybe bring a ghost home with you.

Had an amazing tour with Kristen our tour guide. We were lucky enough to have a private tour and Kristen curated a great private experience. She was an expert story teller and gave homage to the beautiful old building and the spirits that linger. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a fun night out.

My friend purchased us a tour for Christmas and we finally had a chance to go. We had a great time!
Our tour guide Elizabeth was awesome and very knowledgeable. The food at Shakers was great and the tour was a must experience!

Al was THE BEST tour guide for the Shakers Bar Haunted Tour. The tour originally wasn’t going on due to the major snowstorm that was happening at the time in Milwaukee, but he gave us a personal tour after he was already clocked out. We told him we were more than happy with the mini tour, but he gave us a full experience, regardless. He was an awesome storyteller, knew all his facts/history, and was super personable on the tour. This has been the highlight of my Milwaukee trip. Outside of Al, visit Shakers bar, whether you’re a local or tourist. There’s so much history here And the aesthetic is spot on to the old time (and late 1890-1920s) period.

My wife and I took the Shakers Original Tour, and it was an unforgettable experience! Our guide, Chris, was absolutely fantastic—his storytelling brought the rich history of the establishment to life. The eerie tales of paranormal activity kept us on the edge of the entire time. This place is a treasure trove of history and spine-tingling intrigue! We’re already planning our next visit to try the Cream City Cannibal Tour. Highly recommend for anyone who loves a mix of history and the supernatural!
