last night of a very long road trip. area around hotel is fairly new but easy to find off the interstate. upon arrival I found that I had booked the wrong dates for our one night stay thru a 3rd party booking site. being very tired and weary it took a minute to understand. Reception guy African American could not have been nicer and thank goodness they had availability.
Standard room was good sized, breakfast ok, hotel was quiet.
yes, I would stay here again, sometimes the people working hospitality make all the difference in these lodgings.

We stayed here recently during a trip from Texas. The room was booked through Expedia and upon arrival, everything worked out fine. The service initially was great and my main reason for choosing the hotel was the breakfast options. The room was nice with enough room for the 4 of us. The breakfast was amazing. 6am-10am and changed each day with it rotating between scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage gravy and biscuits, egg frittata, or omelettes. There were also options for waffles and beverages. The breakfast and the room definitely made this stay enjoyable. Also, the indoor pool was nice as each time we went to it, we were the only ones in it. The only thing missing would have been an indoor Jacuzzi.. but that is not essential to us. Will definitely choose this hotel the next time we are in Springfield.

My overall stay was great but when I received my credit card bill I had additional charge of $134. I called and emailed with customer service who states the hotel did not charge me this. I even sent proof. They stand by they did not charge me the extra $134. So as someone who is traveling there every other week they have lost my business. Never will stay at a Hampton again.

The first thing I notice when walking into a hotel room is how clean it smells. Unfortunately, ours smelled like stale cigarette smoke, which was disappointing. When I went to make coffee, I found mold growing in the top of the coffee machine. I brought it to the front desk, and while they gave me a brand-new machine right out of the box, they didn’t offer so much as an apology—which would have gone a long way.

The carpet and furniture were another issue. Both are outdated and in desperate need of replacement (see my pictures). Additionally, when I asked for extra pillows for the pull-out couch, I was brought pillows without pillowcases. To top it off, the staff member delivering them had a small child with him, which struck me as unprofessional.

It feels like this hotel has been neglected by Hilton. The staff could benefit from better training, and the property itself is overdue for a complete renovation.

I have stayed at this hotel many times over the years and it is still my hotel of preference for this area. It is older, but it has solid walls, rather than the thin walls of some newer hotels. Some of the furniture is dated, but is well maintained. The HVAC in the room is a bit noisy; but not overwhelming. Breakfast was great with many hot and cold options. The staff is very friendly and accommodating, as well.

Came here for a night.. one thing i can say is we had a dog with us.. and their fees for dogs is lower than any other Hilton hotel, ive seen. The hotel itself was outdated a little bit.. but the rooms were clean and updated. Staff was friendly, overall good stay.

My sister and I took a long weekend trip to visit and go to the IL State Fair. This was my first time staying at this hotel. The location was very convenient to the fair and many other stores. The staff were very nice and accommodating from the moment that we walked into the door. They provide free small water bottles for everyone at the front door. The room was clean, a little outdated, but overall no complaints! The beds were very comfortable. The breakfast was absolutely amazing and there were many varieties of food to choose from. Each day had different options as well, which was much appreciated! The pool area was clean and relaxing. I will definitely stay again when I visit next year!

This is my first time here; I like this hotel. They are friendly at the desk, they give bottles of water when you ask, which I really like in a Hilton hotel. The room is really nice; I love the layout, which is different from the regular room. The bed is comfortable and the Wi-Fi is great. I will plan on staying here again.
