Sometimes, all you want from a hotel is a hassle-free experience that delivers exactly what you expect, and that's precisely what I got at this 3-star gem. From check-in to check-out, everything was smooth. The staff were friendly and efficient, ensuring a swift and welcoming process as soon as I stepped through the door.

The room itself was exactly as advertised, with no luxurious frills, but clean and comfortable. It was the ideal setup for a restful night after a day of travel. What stood out to me was the simplicity and effectiveness of everything. The amenities were just right for the price point, and it was clear that the hotel understands and delivers on its promise of providing solid, no-nonsense accommodations.

What truly clinched the 5-star review for me wasn’t just the absence of problems but the overall satisfaction of receiving exactly what was promised. This hotel exemplifies how a 3-star property can deliver a 5-star experience by meeting expectations perfectly. It's a reminder that excellent service and a straightforward, pleasant stay never go out of style. Would definitely recommend for anyone looking for good value without any unwanted surprises.

They are currently doing a remodel on the first floor and there was not any working restrooms in the lobby.
They clearly are using the lowest bidding contractor to do the remodel. The quality of work isn’t the best. They installed laminate wood flooring in the rooms so you can hear the person above you walking around in their room. I reserved two rooms at over $300 each and was charged $4.50 for 3 small bottles of water. Definitely not worth the cost.

Good downtown location. Nice service with the breakfast attendant. Fresh mango slices was a nice treat. Room needed detailing. Carpet in closet dirty, nose prints on window distracted from a nice view and around the bottom of the bed was dirty.

Room, staff, and hotel are great. Breakfast could be better. But the biggest complaint is no long term parking (>2 hrs) unless you pay $30 a day in a parking garage beside hotel. No where does it say that no parking and you have to pay. I would've stayed at the Hilton right down the road that I did last week if this was known.

Ma'am, I did park in the adjacent garage and it was $30, I have the receipt. Also after checking in last night I went on the website and it doesn't say anything about what parking is available.

Stayed here for two nights, and while the location is nice, I think the rooms could use a little updating. Not the usual Hampton Inn standards: clean, but tired. Our room was also very dark. ||Parking was neither cheap nor convenient: valet or parking deck next door for $30/day. On street paid parking through an app, at 2 hrs max. This was based on what the front desk staffer told us. ||On both nights, smell of pot came into our room, not great. ||View from our room was interesting (see picture).||All in all, not terrible. But at this price point and in this city, you can do better.

The room was amazing! Definitely a step up from your every day Hampton. High ceilings, very nice. Plenty of metered parking outside, the area is walkable, although not particularly nice, but ok for florida, I suppose. Nice water pressure in the shower.

Positive: I really loved the cleanliness and size of my room, as well as the hotel's location. There was a variety of restaurants within walking distance and the walk after dinner was also pleasant. Negative: Checking out took much longer than expected. I could not tell if he was assisting me or working on another task due to the lack of communication.

Stayed here for a UF FB game. Arrived the day before the game and the hotel was ready with complimentary food and drinks in the lobby. Our room was ready immediately. It was clean, spacious and quiet. The bed was comfortable. Every one of the employees was very nice. One front desk guy was very shy but that’s ok. The breakfast was good serviceable Hampton.||There are lots of restaurants and bars surrounding the hotel. The streets are active and noisy until 0200 on game nights, that was fine with us. We were one the 4th floor and street noise was acceptable and we were able to sleep no problem.||It’s about a half hour walk to campus/the stadium.
