Rented a boat for 4 hours and had a blast. The boat was clean and had plenty of power to pull the tube. I would definitely rent from them again. The renting process was easy, and the staff was friendly. Price was just under $1000, which includes: boat taxes, tube, and insurance, which is optional, and also tip.

Rented boats from them in the past but they have since ruined the experience. It wasn’t raining, nor was it going to on Weather Channel. They wanted to close up early, so they claimed it was about to start pouring (it was bright sunshine and clouds). I left, waited 45 minutes, spoke to the manager to give him a weather update and he said that they wouldn’t want us to be stranded in the middle of the lake... again... it was bright sunshine... so, they just wanted to close up early. Awesome. So 20 future years of boat rentals will now bring business to the other boat rental companies around the lake (plenty to choose from).

We recently rented a 20' speed boat from Gordy's for a couple of hours and everything went great. The boat was in great condition, was very clean and performed well. The young people staffing the desk and the dock were really courteous and helpful. Afterwards we ended up in the restaurant for some lunch and a couple Spotted Cows. The staff there was really nice too. We couldn't have asked for a better time!

Great being in the boat club! Boats are good, (usually) clean, staff is nice, particularly the neat kids that are employed in Summer! Always so nice & helpful! Love that the club starts earlier than most and ends later too!! Also nice having the Abbey & Waterfront Restaurant right at marina!

Took ski lessons. The teachers were very patient and the office workers accommodating to my questions. Worth the price tag IF you have a goal in mind. Book your lesson for the earliest available time. You will avoid the crowds, wind and the waves the earlier you go. They have a bathroom but no changing room. Gordy's uses mastercraft boats. I really enjoyed my learning experience at their ski school.

I recently purchased a Cobalt from Gordy's and worked with Jimmy from the start (Chicago Boat Show) to delivery. Jimmy even delivered the boat and spent several hours with me getting me acquainted with all aspects of my beautiful boat. Jimmy was awesome the entire process - even with me cancelling my order because of Covid and then reordering. Kristy was amazing in the office getting my paperwork in order. Kudo's to the entire staff and professionalism - they are the greatest! They even brought me a bottle of Champaign and a couple of Gordy's hats! Thanks again Team, you are awesome.
