WOW is the only word I would use to describe our experience.
Megan and Peter thought of EVERYTHING.
Beautiful cabin, spacious and extremely comfortable for our family of 4 and friend’s family of 4.

The updates to the cabin were noticeable. Beautiful granite countertops and sink, new appliances, updated bedrooms with comfortable mattresses and even an essential oils diffuser!
Being located on a lake was a major plus for our families. Great fishing (and froggin’), warm water, access to kayaks and paddle boats was great.

I highly recommend the Glacier Lake Haus. We will be back!

The Glacier Lake Haus has everything you need to get away and relax. From movie nights to enjoying the view of the lake from the three seasons room, it creates a perfect weekend. All you need to bring is a good book and if you forget one, they have those available there too!! Such special touches everywhere you look and for the price, you just can't beat it. Quiet atmosphere, privacy, a full kitchen to prepare meals, a lower seating area for a campfire by the beach, and many other amenities I won't mention so you can discover them yourselves. A really unique and beautiful place to stay!!!

Perfect cabin to get away from the city. Just a 2 hour drive from Milwaukee. Cozy areas to read and relax. Walk down to the lake to enjoy the water and take the kayaks out. Drove 30 minutes to the Dells to enjoy a supper club. Ended our nights with a bonfire and a great view of the stars. Hoping to return with family again.

Love at first vibe!
Immediately felt welcomed by the vibe these hosts have created. Not only were they extremely responsive, but useful info was provided inside the home. I love attention to detail and this hit every mark. Plenty of chill spaces along with plenty to do. While I value checking-out from devices and the day-to-day grind I also knew I’d want the option to work remotely and the WiFi here did not disappoint. I didn’t miss a beat and was able to wrap up work matters and get back outdoors in no time. My kids are already asking when we can come back. They couldn’t get enough of fishing and canoeing. They also found the paddle boat to be a cool way for them to get around the lake. I also appreciated how well stocked and clean everything was, you just know when someone cares about your experience and takes pride in their place. Kudos!

Glacier Lake Haus is awesome! We rented the house with family and friends for a weekend. It was perfect for us. We had six adults and one child, who all slept and stayed very comfortably in this cabin. The house is modern, spacious, yet super cozy. It has all that you would need at the ready. We stayed after the first snow of the season, so it was too cold to utilize kayaks/canoes, but we plan to return to enjoy the peaceful lake the house sits on during the summer. We enjoyed how serene and quiet the property was for our stay, especially while hanging around the fire pit in the evening under a clear, star filled sky. This place is a great escape from the hustle and bustle of the city. We will definitely be staying again and highly recommend to others looking for an excellent getaway!

The house is furnished very well. Good lake access. Plenty of fire wood with two fire pits. The only thing keeping it from 5 stars is the lack of regular cleaning. Dead bugs in the corners + cob webs in almost any given corner. Overall: a good stay.

We booked for a long weekend for a little family time before school started up again. The house is AMAZING. Perfect for me, my husband, and our 11 yo twins. The kitchen was well stocked cooking-tools wise and basic supplies (oil, salt, pepper). Be sure to bring your own condiments though as the fridge is completely bare (pretty normal for vacation homes). The lake is a smaller, no-wake lake, so we were comfortable letting the kids take out the kayaks on their own while we supervised from the dock. It is a pretty steep trek down and up, and slippery after it rains. Lake shoes recommended for the climb and the seaweed. Hosts were gracious and responsive. Loved it and will be back. Next time with fishing poles!
