I have just returned from the 9 Day Northern Circuit Trek on Kilimanjaro with Follow Alice.
It was truly a great (and successful) trek.
The whole Follow Alice crew was great from the guides to the porters and cooks. All were concerned about my safety and experience. They really took care of me and my friends.
They not only went out of their way to make the trekkers experience great but also made sure that their crew was properly taken care of and had the proper equipment. This wasn't necessarily the case with the other trekking crews. We all felt better and safer know the crew was well taken care of.
I am typically a DIY adventurer but would have no problem using Follow Alice again for an adventure of mine.
I highly recommend them.

I climbed Kilimanjaro with Follow Alice in December, summittimg on New Year’s Eve! The hike was incredible and I would recommend to anyone looking for an adventure! Joining Follow Alice for this trip made it all that much more memorable. Our hike group was put up at the same lodge leading up to go day giving us time to get to know each other - this was great!

On the trip, no detail was missed! The guides and crew were sensational and I felt looked after at all times whether hiking or relaxing. Some fantastic touches were the “morning call” where we were woken up with our hot drink of choice, incredibly clean toilet tents, and having your personal porter greet you each day for those last few gruelling moments before reaching camp to give you a cheer and take your bag! I could go on!!

Digging deeper, we had the BEST crew. Bwenji was our lead guide and he had YEARS of experience on the mountain. He was clear, calm, and ensured we were safe and having the best time. He made adjustments to our itinerary to ensure a fantastic experience and we were able to summit during the day - this was very cool!

Our assistant guides were Trevor, Gideon, and Willie! They were all incredibly fun and helpful! Trevor was the biggest cheerleader and always up for a good chat! Gideon brought the good vibes and kept everyone feeling fresh! Willie was my main man on summit day - he took my bag when it got really hard and cheered me on every step to the top. Everyone of them played a part in summit not just being successful but also heaps fun!!

I am so grateful for these four guys and every single person on the crew - they all made it an amazing experience.

Overall, Follow Alice communicated consistently, ensured we were all prepared and went out of their way to organise transport, rides into town, and so much more to make the journey smooth! Thank you to Chris and our brilliant crew! Looking forward to adventuring with Follow Alice again in the future!

I wasn't sure at all if I will like this cause i've never done high altitude trekking. I can safely say now, I loved it! Getting all the way up there was a struggle, not gonna lie, but I'm so proud of my wife & me for having made it, despite some milder altitude sickness on the last days, to EBC. And thank you Angelu and the whole follow alice crew, and also Puru our trip manager that got us perfectly prepped for this adventure. We're forever grateful.

I am so happy with the whole trip. Follow Alice team was really helpful in every stage of the journey. We were well informed before the trip regarding the preperations. All the crew and guides were incredibly helpful and supportive. Florence is super nice head guide. Thanks to him and all the I felt safe all the time. The food was also really nice. I would recommend Follow Alice to everyone who plans to climb Kilimanjaro.

I took a 8 day Lemosho route Kilimanjaro hike in early March. Follow Alice, Robert (or Bobu) and the entire crew were excellent in keeping morale high and uniting our group as one. As a result despite our varying levels of experience all 10 members of our group summitted. The team never lost faith in my ability to complete the climb at any point and gave me every opportunity to safely finish. The Lodge was a great accommodation and the crew was professional, humorous, and uplifting throughout.

I did the 8-day Lemosho Route with Follow Alice in September 2021, and from the initial planning of the climb all the way to coordinating our transport back home, they were phenomenal.

Myself and 15 others were able to successfully summit Mt. Kilimanjaro because of Chris’ (our head guide) and his team’s encouragement and love for what they do. It was very evident that everything was thoroughly and thoughtfully planned out. For the entire climb, I felt that I was safe and in good hands. Chris and his team will forever have a place in my heart. And should I ever decide to climb Mt. Kilimanjaro again, Follow Alice is who I am going with. No questions asked. I could not have dreamt of a better experience.
