My 4 year old twin grandchildren adored the visit! The animals are well taken care of and were loving the nibbles we had to feed them. It was a grand visit and the highlight of one of our 4 year old's week with great grandmother V.

Just lovely! Julie (owner, i believe) was there during the camps - friendly, sweet, talking to everyone. Love this place. Animals look well cared for, fun to feed them. Farmer Debbie is also so great - my tot is doing a little farm class once a week with her and he LOVES it!

Adorable family farm with beautiful landscaping and great farm store with local products. We love walking around looking at the farm and animals. The animals are well cared for and loved. They’re always excited for you to bring treats. My family and I have been coming to this farm for over 30 years and we have enjoyed and loved every visit.

What a great farm! We had my son’s second birthday party here. The birthday package was a great deal and our host, Sophie, was fantastic! Party room was clean and organized. Personal farm tour and hayride were entertaining for kids of all ages. Included feed for the animals for all children and their parents. Cleanup was quick and their staff take care of the trash. I was hesitant about the cost ($400), but it was well worth it!

Update: We had my son’s birthday party here again one year later. Flamig farm does not disappoint. Madeline was our fantastic host! I ended up having almost 50 people. 20+ kids. Everyone had a great time. There’s plenty of entertainment and plenty of space. I can’t say enough great things about this beautiful family-owned farm. We’re coming back again next year!

You can't miss the iconic large red barn that has the word EGGS, but backwards on it. Flamig Farm has been in existence since 1907; located in West Simsbury.

First visit, I got there around 4:40 and they were closing at 5; it was a short trip because I just wanted to get some eggs. The employee said they were closing soon and so was the petting zoo when I first walked in; I mentioned I was going to be quick and just wanted to get some eggs. I didn't know they had a petting zoo so I made a plan to go back again another time. The store was your typical farm stand, they had eggs, honey, cookies, apparel, and various of other knick knacks. They were having a sale, buy one dozens eggs ($7) and get one dozen free. The chickens were laying too many eggs and they wanted to get rid of as many as possible.

The second time, I got in earlier in the day and purchased petting zoo tickets; $8 per person over 2 years old/under 80 years old and for an additional $2, you can purchase feed. I highly recommend getting the feed, the animals loved it. The petting zoo was bigger than I thought. There's even a playground with benches and picnic tables. The place seemed clean and the animals seem well taken care of. We saw pigs, llamas (my favorite), sheep, goats, alpacas, peacocks, cows, ponies (another favorite), donkeys, bunnies, chickens, and a black cat.Inside the shop, there were baby chicks, birds, and guinea pigs. There were signs explaining what type of animals, facts, and their story/names throughout. They also offer pony and tractor rides for an additional fee. There's a huge pavilion with picnic tables; you can bring your own food in.

Also, there is an Airbnb onsite and people book their weddings there. There are many events hosted there as well; children programs and summer camps are popular ones. My kids and I had a blast petting and feeding the animals. I highly recommend!

When I was visiting my cousins from out of state, I knew we had to go to the farm they have been RAVING about for years. They have been attending camp for as long as I can remember, and have told me all of their fantastic stories of crazy farm traditions, hilarious hay-rides, and memories that will clearly last a lifetime. When driving to the farm I thought it couldn’t be nearly as amazing as it sounds, but when we visited I could feel the warmth the second I stepped out of the car. We had a great time playing with all the animals, and learning about the extraordinary care that is put into running a working farm. Now I just have to wait to come back next year!

We loved visiting this farm, our 4 year old daughter had a great time feeding and petting all the animals. And she went crazy for the pony ride. I spoke to the owner Nevin before we left and they have done an amazing job running their farm, a must see attraction!

We’ve loved visiting this petting zoo for years. The animals are usually happy and well-cared for, and the atmosphere is beautiful. On our last visit, however, we saw one goat was lying awkwardly on the ground. We informed a staff member but despite saying he’d check on her, over an hour later nothing had been done and he was still talking with the same people he had been before. This lack of urgency really upset us, especially my daughter, as the goat’s are one of her favorite animals on the farm. We still love this petting zoo, but this experience left us concerned. We hope the goat is okay and that this was just an isolated incident.
