Drove here only to find out that they were closed. Tuesday morning 10:40 am. Called them with the number posted on the store, the guy picked up and said today not open.. 🙅🏻‍♂️

I probably won't come back here since it was already out of the way. Not planning on going out of the way only to find out they are not open.

Elite Catering has one of the most diverse menus of authentic Kerala cuisine out there! The best part is they have an extensive selection ready at the store, so you can just grab and go! Salmon curry, fish moilee, beetroot thoran, biryani, butter chicken, and so much more! Their service is exceptional - they supported my elderly father during Covid (and beyond) with homemade food and even dropped it off for him! Always grateful for their Kerala hospitality! 🙏

My husband got catering from this place and there was a whole cooked cockroach in our thoran. I am absolutely disgusted and will never again spend my money here. The one time I spend money to take out food and there’s a cockroach in the food we spent $120 on.

Food tastes like an authentic Kerala food. Service is okay. But they need serious improvement in good hygiene. Few people (guess regular customers or owner's friends) just walk into the kitchen and shake hands with the people serving customers.

Our favorite Kerala food joint in the whole of Chicago. While traveling in the area, we always make it a point to stop by, either to have a quick meal or to pick up large quantities for food to eat later. Food always tastes excellent here.

The only feedback I would offer to the management is to install a standard Point of Sale system for better customer order management. During the Easter weekend, there was a huge demand which strained the kitchen and front-end staff alike, resulting in long wait time for some customers and in some cases, missed items in the order.

I love the samosas but lately have had none. I don’t know why now can’t get them when always had them. Anything I have had is delicious l. Today they sent me to the grocery store and they had nothing fresh.

They are caterers serving events and weddings. But they provide take out of cooked and freshly packaged food. The cuisine is from Kerala, southeast coast of India. The birthplace of Vindaloo. Very authentic flavors. The owner operators are very friendly and helpful. I recommend it highly for any Indian. If you are a local, ask their assistance for dishes that suit your spice tolerance.
