These swan boat rentals were very cool! We went at sunset so we got to experience the lights and night sky experience.

A great date night idea!
Only downfall is echo lake isn’t the cleanest: the fountain in the middle was something my husband and I actively tried to avoid so we weren’t sprayed by the water, that had a green dirty hue to it.

Would be nice to have more area for the boats to expand to. But overall, a fun experience and wasn’t an expensive activity.

The boats are quite large, able to fit 4 people comfortably. My husband and I are both larger people, and getting a life vest was no issue, nor was getting onto the boat. The staff made everything easy and all had great attitudes!

Spontaneous adventure after dinner in LA! We drove past by this otw to the restaurant, and we thought it looked so fun.

Parking: Free street parking, but it can be very difficult to find.

Environment: This activity is located in Echo Park. We visited at night. It wasn't too busy, but I was surprised to see a decent amount of other people here.

Service: My bf prepaid online through Viator. Our reservation was at 20:24. We checked in at the cart, signed a waiver, and given life vests. We headed down towards the dock where other workers assisted us getting on the swan. They gave us a very quick n brief tutorial of how to navigate the swan.

Activity: Hope you're ready for a leg workout lol! It was very difficult navigating the swan. We were told left is right, and right is left. Every time we tried turning right, the swan did not want to turn. When peddling forward, it felt like we were barley moving. When peddling backwards, the swan was actually moving faster. The swan boats are lit at night, so you can see how much time you have left. The dimmer the lights, the less time you have. The swans and vests can use a cleaning.

Pricing: $13 per adult and $7.50 per child. One hour limit. Fun date night idea but get ready for a leg workout! You can also bring your family along. The swan holds a max of 5 people.

We’ve been here before about a year ago and since they have improved a lot. Very clean, nice atmosphere. We loved it.

The price is extremely reasonable. And you can take a little trivia while aboard of your swan, learning a little about this lake.

What a wonderful experience. I love going to echo Park and the swan boats are one of my favorite things. The lake is not huge so you don't get exhausted. The fountain is amazing and I love seeing all the turtles in the water. Sometimes even some very exciting birds. My wife and I love taking day trips. On this one we rode the Metrolink up from Oceanside just to visit the lake and ride the swan boats. Prices are good and it's very family friendly.

I love Echo Park it's a nice little park with lots to do, it has a gym, swan 🦢 pedal boats, coffee shop & much more. I go there a lot to work out, meditate, I take my kid to see the ducks, geese & lotuses 🪷 on its season. I personally love this park

I love Echo Park, I work out outdoors, I meditate ; take my child to explore nature in the middle of the city. We've seen lotuses blooming, turtles, lil lobsters, fishes , baby ducks and baby geese's. Such a fun time.
