This is probably the most amazing vacation we have ever taken. So amazing that we have gone two years in a row. Imagine a place so secluded and idyllic yet minutes away from a Publix, restaurants, bait shops or anything you ever need. I can not recommend this vacation possibility enough. From the time you arrive Wes does a quick guided tour and explains how to run anything you may need to know. He also answers whenever you call or text if you need an answer for anything while you are there.

The moat is amazing and is flourishing with aquatic life night and day. We brought a few underwater scooters and would just go around the island and explore daily.

The fishing is top notch and a reason we came back twice. My sons are avid fisherman and would be out there sun up to sun down. There is a kayak and paddle board that Wes and his family allows you to use and we brought down our Old Town powered kayaks this time. But to be honest they caught fish people only come down here to catch right off of the dock and on the back rocks of the moat including pompano and several tarpon.

Wes allows you to take the family skiff to shore and back whenever needed and it is a 3 min ride. You can bring 3 cars or more and there is plenty of parking behind the gated community and very secure.

The home is furnished beautifully and has everything you need, fully stocked kitchen, grill, high speed Internet. It is like living at home but over a mile offshore surrounded by water. You can get your sun out by the pool but if you want even more privacy as a couple there are several different steps that lead down to concrete platforms overlooking different parts of the island. Each with different views and orientation to the sun. Just a spectacular layout for the entire family or group you are with.

Our second trip we almost never left the island except for a few diners just to enjoy the peace and beauty East Sister Rock is made for. But if you would like to visit Key West it was less than an hour away.

I am sorry for the long review but I just can’t fully describe what an amazing vacation this truly is. I forgot to mention with approval they also allow your beloved pets to come and my dogs have never been happier taking laps around the wraparound porch or exploring the island. Nothing but smiles on their face to match ours the whole week.

We look forward to our next summer and third trip to paradise.

The island is a wonderful setting. Our group agrees that this was as relaxing a vacation as we have ever had. Our host was excellent. The views created a wonderful feeling of calm. The home is in fantastic condition, and shows the effort the owners have made especially considering the exposure. We all agree it is a do over.

We recently completed an awesome stay at East Sister Rock Island. This property possesses all the amenities and opportunities to make an authentic Keys dream vacation become reality. The house had plenty of room and high-quality finishes. The constant sea breeze provides the opportunity to choose between opening the house or closing up for climate control. The huge, wrap-around porch with thoughtful seating arrangements enticed us to be outside comfortably most of the time. The pool and surrounding outdoor furniture offered resort-like feel. The owners thought of everything, even quality mattresses and pillows for a comfortable night’s sleep. The sound of the waves against the coral reef, the look and feel of the rushing sea current, and the view of awesome nature relaxed and inspired us during our time here. We snorkeled, fished, kayaked, paddle-boarded, observed sharks, snapper, barracuda and reef fish right off our dock, watched tarpon roll and gulp air all around the island. Communication with owners was excellent. Our family made amazing memories. This is a tropical paradise.

This island is beautiful. Enjoying the early morning sun while swinging in the hammock on the wrap around porch to hanging out at the very nice in-ground pool to the most gorgeous sunsets ever- swimming in the moat is actually like swimming in a tropical fish tank. We saw barracuda, parrot fish, moray eel, angel fish, sting rays, starfish, puffer fish, dolphins and so many other beautifully colored fish - the stars at night light up the sky. Fishing off the dock is fantastic- huge tarpin, grunts, mahi mahi, needle fish , red drum- just to name a few. The house itself is beautiful, very spacious, comfortable, and modern- Every luxury you would want - You are in your own tropical paradise with no worries and total relaxation. Wesley is the perfect host , super nice , and ready to help with any questions. If you want to forget your troubles and immerse yourself in total beauty and enjoy all the fascinating creatures in the sea - East Sister Rock is the place to be for an unforgettable adventure. This island is magical 😊

We have stayed at this Paradise for 3 years in a row and hope to continue for another 20! East Sister Rock Island is the perfect get away for seclusion, relaxation, and simply enjoying the beauty that is our natural Florida. Wes has always been more than accommodating to any request or help we have needed, and responds nearly immediately when you reach out to him. The mote around the island is perfect for those whose want to enjoy snorkeling, but are hesitant of open waters, we have found lobster, conch, eels, puffers, octopus, sting ray, manatees, and thousands of reef fish for people of all ages to enjoy. Just outside the mote provides ample opportunity for spearing and catching your daily protein. Sombrero Reef is a short boat ride from the island and is by far the most stunning reef around. Bring your boat, your rods, and your gear. Conveniently located near shopping, grocery, and restaurants for when you need to revisit the real world. This stay is more than worth the cost, the recharging that we get when we visit is priceless, can't wait to get back next summer. Thank you Wes for everything, you and your property are amazing.

East Sister Rock Island offers a unique, peaceful getaway with stunning views and great privacy. The accommodations were comfortable, and the hosts were exceptional, providing clear communication throughout our stay. Highly recommend!

I brought my girlfriend, now wife, here to celebrate our engagement. We had a very peaceful and private vacation. The house had everything we needed and it had a home away from home feel to it. Our favorite part was the crystal clear water around the island, which we enjoyed swimming in.
The host, Wesley, is responsive and very caring. He had a boat ride ready for us to get to the island and take us back to shore when we were leaving. We hope to be coming back in the future

The absolute best vacation I have ever had. The views are breathtaking. We spent our days swimming in the pool, floating in the moat and relaxing. The kitchen is well equipped and we enjoyed cooking and grilling together. I can’t explain how good for your mind, body and soul this place is. You must do this for yourself! The peace the island gives you is something everyone needs to experience!
