We LOVE Dexter's Inn. This family owned and run inn is our home away from home for winter ski getaways. The Inn is warm and welcoming, as is the amazing family. We have been coming here for four years and it just keeps getting better. The rooms are simple, comfortable and cozy after a day of winter adventures and skiing. The breakfasts are to die for! My husband is a "first chair" kind of guy when it comes to skiing, but we never miss breakfast at Dexter's! The game room is loads of fun and we also love to bring our own board games and play by the fire in the main Inn (we stay in the Annex rooms, as we can bring our dog!). We love the trails for snowshoeing and cross country skiing--or just walk in the woods with the dog. On this last trip (last weekend) they had just opened their seasonal bar- great food and drinks and fun company with other guests. They Dexter's team is always warm and welcoming and they above and beyond to make your stay the best it can be. I cannot reccommend Dexter's Inn enough. HUGE thanks to Maria, Paul, Beth, Lisa and the rest of the team!

Dexter's Inn was a perfect setting for our Spring wedding! We landed on Dexter's because we wanted to have a view that showcased some of NH's natural beauty, on-site accommodations, and a venue that would feel like home to all of our guests. We, along with our guests, loved that everything was on one property from the ceremony and cocktail hour to our reception and after party. Maria, Beth, Paul, and the entire staff were a pleasure to work with throughout our entire wedding planning process. The landscaping at Dexter's is beautiful with the large patio, the new water fountain, and the flowers that are all around the property. Between the landscaping, the cozy inn, and the mountain views it makes this place feel so magical! All of our guests were blown away when they arrived. The breakfast that they serve every morning is also delicious! If you are looking for a venue that allows for a whole weekend of celebration with on-site accommodations, Dexter's is the perfect place!

Dexter’s Inn is the perfect location for a wedding. The beauty of the Inn, the stunning grounds and the view of Mount Sunapee create a magical setting. The opportunity to celebrate with family and friends while staying together at the Inn made the weekend unforgettable.
Innkeepers Maria and Paul, along with General Manager Beth and all the staff went above and beyond our expectations. They truly make their guests feel like family. From start to finish their kindness, professionalism and attention to detail made everything effortless and perfect.
There is simply no venue out there that compares to Dexter’s Inn. They helped us create memories that we will cherish for a lifetime and for that we are forever grateful.

We stayed for a night in the main house when we were in the area for a party. It is charming, very comfortable with nice shared spaces and comfortable bedroom. Beautiful views and light snow in the morning made coffee and breakfast even better.
We would stay again if we were in the area.

All the other reviews are spot on. We chanced upon this place last min and we stayed for a night on a ski trip to sunapee which is less than 10 mins away . This is a family run place which had everything to offer for “apre ski” - delicious cookies and coffee in the common area, bar , a cozy dining area with a fire place, a hot tub , gracious hosts ! Unlike other places around the area , they can be booked for just 1 night which worked out well for us. They have rooms split between 2 buildings that are across the street from one another. Kids can enjoy in their rec room ! The rooms are well stocked and you feel the old New England charm ! Breakfast in the morning was cherry on top.
I think we found a gem and would definitely be returning to stay at Dexters inn !

We had our wedding at Dexter's Inn, and it was an absolute dream! The venue is gorgeous, with stunning views and gardens that make for amazing photos. beautiful location. lovely people available for all of your trip needs. they will accommodate larger family’s. maria is extremely helpful as is beth. the food is amazing for breakfast. also love that dogs are welcome:) our family does two reunions a year and everytime there is something even better.
