Took a weekend yacht cruise. It was a beautiful day and we sat inside and outside at different times on the way and on the return trip to get the whole experience. The inside has different seating options from couches, tables, and benches. It is also air conditioned so it is nice and cool. The cruise offers snacks and drinks. The captain offers narration along the tour which is interesting and informative.

Recently my daughter and new husband had their wedding reception on Delray Yacht Cruises. I cant thankk Megan and her staff enough for the amazing experience that was created for this special event. they literally provide everything from the DJ (Masso Entertainment), the delicious catered food, the wedding cake (2 fat cookies) and the photographer recomendnation (Tess Ann Photography). This event was coordinated by my wife and I since all of the particpants and guest were coming from out-of state. They really made it easy for us. My daughter wanted a Florida wedding but the idea of people coming to Florida and attending a wedding reception in a hotel ballroom with no windows was not appealing. Having our reception on this beautiful Yacht sailing down the intracoastal waterway was just amazing. Thank you Megan.

January 2025:
Late departure. No gluten free or dairy options for those in our party who can’t ingest that (and they don’t allow outside food or drink). And we couldn’t hear any of the narrated tour for the first ten minutes.

December 2022:
Made reservations a few days before the trip and they asked me to be there a half an hour earlier. I got the tickets from a cranky attendant. Then, we were standing in line waiting to board, in the sun, for thirty minutes and no shade. They started boarding late. Once they were ready, the brought out a wreath for pictures, took one for everyone who wanted it and we boarded. The ship itself is very nice. It’s in great shape, with three levels, and very comfortable seating. We got a few drinks, no food because the menu was all fried and unhealthy food. The drinks were great and the crew was nice. The trip started late, and we could not hear half of what the captain was saying. The boat ride was nice on the first leg of the trip, seeing the houses and the view. I’m the second half, it was bad, no entertainment and just driving back to the initial spot, seeing the same places. Overall, for the price we paid wiper person (almost $40), we expected better service: on time departure, better food, better entertainment, and better sound.

Finally, when you call to make a reservation, the same attendant selling the tickets, just puts you on hold right away, as soon as she picks up the phone.

This was our 7th time taking this boat cruise. The views are wonderful and the narration of the sites is very informative. The waitress service was excellent, BUT a waitress said not to order the chicken quesadillas because the chicken content was so small. Later, she found they fixed this issue and we had plenty of chicken in our order.
Boarding the boat was fine BUT when de-boarding, we were let off the gangplank in a different location from boarding, right into a huge puddle. Ladies were stepping their dress shoes right into the water. One elderly lady, with a walker, was also led directly into the water as she de-boarded (see pics). I'm not sure why they didn't pull the boat forward 5-10 feet, so we would de-board onto dry land (as we did when boarding).

Last weekend I saw two female staff serving food & drink (dark brown & light brown hair females) yell & berate a senior family where one person had a handicapped. I was shocked at what was happening. They continued to yell at the family on the second deck and made them take the stairs to stay on the lower deck … This occurred on floor 2. I am actually disappointed in myself for not sticking up for the family. I am going to assume that this was these two girls first and last day working on the yacht . If not then … aren’t you embarrassed!

We reserved for 10:30 cruise by phone. A couple days later, someone left a voicemail asking us to switch to 1:30 PM cruise. I immediately called back and said okay. The day before the cruise I got a rather rude text saying they had tried to reach me several times and I had not responded, then asking if we would switch to the next day or 2 days later. I said, NO, I had returned the original call, talked to someone and they already switched us to 1:30 PM and that we would be there for that cruise. They asked me to call them back and before I could, another text "Disregard" and be there at 1pm latest. When we arrived, there was a long lineup and the agent in the kiosk was working from a handwritten list (in pencil) of reservations searching for names of 100+ people. OMG, it's 2025 folks. This is very bad for business.

The trip itself was lovely. Food on board is pretty basic and no healthy choices. Narration by the captain was interesting, but sometimes hard to hear over the chatter of other passengers. More outdoor seating undercover would be great, but the yacht's layout doesn't allow that option. Less fun to be sitting with 100 other people inside in hotel style dining room chairs.

We highly recommend that you educate your office folks on customer service protocol AND invest in some technology that allows online bookings (with payment in advance and no refunds), and automated check-in using QR codes at arrival.

Very relaxing and informative. We did the evening cruise and found it to be enjoyable. Decent selection of light menu items and the drinks were great as well
