I had a wonderful time traveling to Bali with Craftours. This is the farthest I have ever traveled and found it to be a great experience. I learned about a culture quite different from my own, yet not so different. It was interesting to try my hand at some different crafts. I started out not knowing anyone on the tour, but made some new friends.

In Dec.2024, my husband and I had a fantastic trip to Bavaria & Austria with Craftours. Jim West & his assistant Tommy Lunn went out of their way to make this European vacation safe, entertaining, & awe inspiring. With each adventuresome experience, Jim shared cultural traditions, historical places, and natural wonders of Europe, We appreciated that with humor, flexibility,and enthusiasm Jim and his team made it possible for us to experience the best of each countries’ cultures, foods, and crafts. We still had time each day to choose additional activities or relax in our comfortable first class hotel.
🌍We loved our experiences so much that we have signed up for two more Craftours trips with the competent and caring Jim West. 🌏 You only live once!🧳🗺️

I am just getting ready to leave for my fourth trip with Craftours.
I have previously been on trips to Morocco, Bali, Africa, and next week India. I am already signed up for Egypt in January 1926. The owner, Jim West, was on all of my trips, except for Bali and our group leader in Bali was also wonderful. You could not ask for a kinder more attentive owner/leader than Jim West. He spends a great deal of time researching the locations that we go to. Our hotels are always excellent as our experiences. He concerns himself with our safety, particularly when we were in Africa I could not recommend Craft Tours more. On my first trip with Jim, they asked the Travelers if they had been on trips with Jim before. All of them with the exception of me had been with him for numerous trips. I’m talking 5, 6, 7.
With his tours, you are guaranteed a nice trip, reasonably priced, and an opportunity to explore the crafts of a country as well as the sites of the country. During your free time you can always take off on your own and go exploring which I did everywhere but in Africa. I like the fact that I have some time to myself to explore. I could not recommend Craft Tours more. And I’ve had a lot of opportunities to see just how hard Jim works to make sure that everyone has a good time and a good experience. If you’re looking to take a trip sign up now.
As a side note Jim also has a very philanthropic side. Most recently he provided a well for a school outside of Nairobi without water….life-changing for the students and the community. Giving them access to clean water greatly improves health, education, and overall quality of life for this community.
Whether you’re in it for the history, the culture, or simply the joy of travel, Craftours delivers an experience that resonates on multiple levels.

Just returned from a trip to Mexico which included visiting two Monarch Butterfly Sanctuaries. Absolutely breathtaking! I can’t thank Craftours owner, Jim West, who was also our tour escort. He took care of everything and everyone, personally assisting each guest as needed throughout the tour. Beautiful hotels, transportation and amazing sights throughout the entire trip! I can’t wait until my next tour with Jim and Craftours!

I recently returned from my second trip with Craftours. Our group spent a wonderful week in Ireland. We visited Galway, Killarney and Dublin. Our guide during the whole trip, Jim West was amazing. He made sure we saw and did the most fantastic things. Our dedicated, kind, friendly and caring driver Sean was the best. Some of the fantastic places we visited included Inch Beach, Bunratty Castle, Blarney Castle, Muckross House, and the Cliffs of Moher. Jim also was able to provide great dining and shopping recommendations.

As this was one of their Autograph Tours, Tony and Grammy winner John Lloyd Young was with us for every adventure. The high point of the trip was the private concert he gave at Brigit's Garden.

What an amazing trip to the Monarch Butterfly Sanctuaries hosted by Jim West owner of #craftours pictured with two delightful women who, with his kind help, were able to see the magnificent sites in the sanctuaries. The Orange you see in the trees is millions of Monarch butterflies. I had such a great time and I would highly recommend this trip. My only regret is not bringing a better camera to capture this magnificent sight.

Just returned from a trip to Nairobi, Kenya. Our guide, Joyce, provided us with a flawless, fun time. She made all of us feel special and catered to our every need with smiles and laughter. The excursions were amazing.
This was my first tour out of the USA and I will definitely do another tour with craft tours

I am so excited about my recent trip to Peru! Seeing Machu Picchu was a dream come true. My only issue was my body reacting to the altitude (I'm a flatland girl and had a little trouble breathing). Hotel staff brought me oxygen and helped me continue to enjoy my trip.
I especially enjoyed seeing the alpaca and llama at a local farm in Cusco. Natural dyeing, spinning, and weaving was demonstrated. What a wonderful experience!
The trip was a delight of delicious food (I tried guinea pig), brilliant colors, wonderful smells, music, and education. All my senses were working overtime to take it all in!
