We really liked our comfortable stay with kids. The rooms were spacious, clean and the front desk staff super friendly and helpful. The bfast was a great one too. Parking was ample and the pool was clean too so a great add on when traveling with kids. Would love to come back on our way to SoCal next time again.

Hotel is really nice. Very comfortable and helpful for us cyclists storing equipment while we tour. Michelle was very helpful during checkin. She shared with us many restaurants nearby since we did not have a car. Her recommendation for the switch was perfect

I canceled a reservation for this hotel a within ten minutes after making the reservation but was still charged for the room because the reservation was made the day before (hotel has a 48 hour cancellation policy). Another Marriott Hotel was booked in the area instead because more convenient. When I canceled the reservation online I did not receive a notification that I would be charged.||I am a Platinum Elite Member so have done quite a bit of business with Marriott over the years. I contacted the Platinum customer service line to see if I could get the amount refunded but was told that the hotel declined to provide a refund.||I understand they have the right to charge me, but this has me frustrated since I canceled the reservation so quickly after making it. I don't suspect they lost any business in the short time I canceled after making the reservation. Maybe Marriott customer service is changing and not for the better!

The bed was very comfortable and the room was quite nice overall.||However, I was in a room that had an adjoining door, and this door had almost zero soundproofing. I'm glad the couple next door was having a good time, but hearing it ALL was little much at 1am and again at 530am. God Bless Viagra I guess. That ruined my sleep.||Parking was adequate a d of course no free lobby coffee is always a bummer

The front desk staff was totally gracious, helpful and so polite. They greeted us with warm smiles and friendly vibes. They answered all our questions and didn’t rush us at all. Overall, this is a nice hotel just outside downtown. However, we had two major issues while we were there. First, they started a huge construction project that they did not warn us about. They blocked off the end of the hallway which included the stairway. This was the emergency egress route. When we complained about it, they shrugged their shoulders, but did relocate us eventually. The second room we got was above some type of mechanical room and there was a loud banging all night long. This was room 239 and I would encourage travelers to definitely avoid it. For the most part, the staff and especially the Starbucks ladies were very nice.

Amazing hotel, wonderful staff experience. Very helpful. Just here for an evening but nice bar and rooms. Would definitely recommend for the business traveler. Easy access to freeway and shopping. Make sure you visit Avila Beach.. highly recommend

Overall , a great stay at the Marriott Courtyard! Clean rooms, comfortable beds, and got upgraded to a suite upon request. The location was convenient, and the amenities, especially the fitness center, were top-notch. Comparable to other Courtyard properties. Slow elevator, small coffee cups, and need to upgrade to tap keycards in room, but would certainly stay again.
