I hopped on a water taxi, and thank goodness the weather was warm! ☀️ I can’t imagine how chilly it would feel in the winter, with the cold wind cutting right through you. 🥶

The ride to Alexandria was absolutely stunning! 🌊 Along the way, I got to see the Capitol Building, planes landing at the airport, and even a Navy base. The views made the whole trip so worth it! 🛥️✨

FANTASTIC ferry service!
We took the ferry from the wharf in DC to Georgetown. We really the trip. The boat was great and opportunity to take pictures too. The view points are amazing. This allow you to sample DC from another angle.
I would highly recommend this tour! My family really enjoyed it.

Amazing experience with the water taxi. Evening is the best time to visit. There is no free car parking close by, You might have to use the garage parking if you want to avoid the walk.

I booked this event to celebrate my fiancee's 40th birthday with several dozen of our friends. Given the extremely high cost of this service (approaching $150 a ticket), I thought I'd be getting something special to mark the occasion. Nothing could have been further from the truth, and nearly every person we brought with us commented at some point or another during the evening about how something had irked them. I'll list the highlights here:

-Unresponsive team with regard to booking the event to begin with
-A buffet with extremely average food that we had to wait multiple times to get refilled and was then taken away completely for the evening before the one hour point
-DJ managed to both get my fiancee's name wrong when announcing her birthday, then failed to play the one song she requested for the evening
-Music was incredibly loud, to the point many of our guests had to retreat to the back of the boat to not have their ears blown out
-The bathrooms were absolutely disgusting and filled with a terrible smell that ran the entire length of the evening, so I don't even know what was going on there

In general, this entire operation feels like a money grab, and my fiancee was beyond brokenhearted by her evening. Her friends and I went out the next weekend to celebrate her birthday to a lovely restaurant that wound up costing less than half as much per person with far nicer food and amenities. Do yourself a favor and please consider any other venue for your events. It's too late for us, but it isn't for you.

I love taking the water taxi from Old Town Alexandria to The Wharf. Best value as a local is to get the season pass. I feel like I have my own boat and I don't need to worry about parking.

Waited 45 minutes for the 3:45 taxi to Alexandria like the sign said. Went to buy a ticket at 3:30. As did the couple in front of us. While barely looking up, she was looking after a small child, while talking on the phone, the young lady just said no when I asked if the taxi would be departing consistent with what the sign says. Rude as hell and horrible customer service!

Very smooth ride!! A lot of options to sit- inside area, outside covered ( first floor), upper open area (second floor). It’s accessible to everyone. A great way to escape traffic, spend time on the water, and see good views! Would recommend highly.

I just did the City Cruise dinner yesterday. The staff were very friendly and hospitable . The setting was very nice , there was a DJ with nice selection of songs.
The reason for the 3 star rating is the food. My salmon was just horrible it was very dry and tasteless. The salad was very poor. The chicken was tender but portion very small.
I would rather do the cruise without the food because it made it a bad experience for me.
