Fun city park with a duck pond, playground, walking trail, baseball field, and pool. It's in good shape, safe, free parking, lots of ducks. Bring a fishing rod for the duck pond.

Clean and very entertaining for the kids. Will definitely go back. Alot of picnic tables and different type of fowls (mallard ducks, geese, blue heron and more) for the kids to look at and feed.

I can't believe I've lived in DFW for 10+ years and never knew about this gem before now! This is a perfect water park for kids from 1 year old and up!! The slides are so much fun, my 5 year old went down the yellow one over and over and over! I even went down the blue slide a few times and it was great! I was so impressed by every single thing in this facility. From the extremely attentive and professional staff, to the cleanliness of the entire park, to the variety of activities to keep every kid happy, and the great restrooms, including a family one, which is much better for this single mom and son! This is an amazing water park for the price and we will certainly be back next season!!

We really love coming to this park. We've been going there for years and love to take walks around the walking paths. It can be really busy, but if you go outside of peak times it's not usually too bad, especially in the back half of the park.

Only real complaints are that the water can sometimes be a bit stagnant in spots, and some areas have long stretches of pathway with no shade (but some areas are well shaded.)

There are a lot of waterfowl here, especially in the winter, as well as flocks of pigeons and some semi-friendly squirrels.

Playground includes 2 play areas for different ages. 2-5 and 5-12, swingsets with disabled older child, co-swing and small child swings. Plenty of seating for parents at the playground. Duck pond with catfish and trout stocked. Nice walking paths. Plenty of picnic tables with charcoal grills and trash cans, shaded by well manicured oak trees. Has a water park, basketball courts and baseball diamonds.

I fish at Chisholm sometimes and it's a very pleasant park. The park has a bit of everything you could desire in one place. Clean restrooms and plenty of parking. I have noticed that the pond is possibly being overrun by turtles and there are stagnant areas that reek of a sewage like smell. Those two things are recent developments and shouldn't really affect a trip there. Remember, don't feed the ducks bread, it's bad for them

I love going to this park, beautiful animals, pond and nice walking path. Seems peaceful and such a nice view. I can’t wait for it to cool off some so we can have a picnic there and watch the ducks and enjoy nature.
