amazing, i stayed here during the 2024 solar eclipse and had a wonderful experience! the cabin was great, they were communicative and flexible. also they were dog friendly which was nice!

We stayed for 3 nights in the one bedroom cabins the location is cool. The one bad side to our stay is the lack of wifi inside the cabin otherwise it was a nice place out in the woods

Clean spacious and private. The hosts are very kind. Cabins are clean . Hot tub is spacious and clean. Arrived and a/c was on already for us. Best cabin my wife and I have stayed in. We will return soon.

This place is the BEST!! We stayed at the River House, and it was perfect! Lots of beds, and rooms, for everyone in our party. The hot tub was wonderful, the kitchen was huge, and well stocked. It was so awesome, we're coming back this year, with even more people!

Wonderful stay! River House was so clean and nicely setup. We loved it and plan to return soon!

The pool table in the office was a nice bonus. We saw whitetail deer and bald eagles everyday. The folks who own/run it are so nice and the reservations and check in is simple. Such a nice relaxing place to stay in beautiful Southern IL.

We stayed at Bentley's Lookout for three nights during Spring Break. Had a wonderful time. Cabin was super clean and afforded us everything we needed. Kitchen was fully equipped and all rooms were cozy. Loved the hot tub on the porch. At night we would watch the barges go by on the river right from the hot tub. Owners are super friendly and accommodating. Easy drive to Garden of the Gods, Cave in Rock, Rim Rock, Pounds Hollow and other Shawnee National Forest recreation areas. Free ferry at Cave in Rock takes to you Amish country in Kentucky. Would absolutely recommend Cedar Hill River Cabins -- would love to go back in the fall to enjoy the changing foliage.

Super clean, nice terain I was able to take my 2 big dogs (not suport animals or services dogs) just 2 berry clumsy dogs 😀. Fishing in the lake was super cool,and exiting. my family was very happy, conftrable.
Playing pool and hanging out by the office was nice on a rainy day. We took my 9 month baby and he loved the outdoors (protect your baby bring bug repellent, sunglasses, sun blocker,outdoor carrierbackpack,trust me it soo worth the investment) we loved it and we'll be back soon 😀.
