Excellent resort. We stayed one night here and wow the rooms are impressive as well as the resort. The picnic area is pristine and had a huge fire pit. Got to enjoy the pool and hot tub which was very clean. As for the rooms ours was outstanding. Has everything you need to feel at home along with a great view of the lake. The staff here goes above and beyond to make you feel at home and they have great customer service. I would definitely come back here.

It's a very rustic style motel. It was very clean and front desk person was helpful. We had a room that was fairly close to the road and unfortunately there was road construction literally going on all hours of the night, which really put a damper on our sleep. We would have appreciated knowing that ahead of 9PM! when my husband inquired and been given/offered a room further away. Also the AC wasn't cooling the room, it was heating it, so that wasn't ideal either. Pillows and bedding were equally rustic, but for the price it was fine for one night.

Don’t let the wine bar fool you - there is no wine served. It is just a lounge in front of the reception desk where you can drink with friends, BYOB. I assume this resort was very luxurious in the 60s or whenever it was built. It has many amenities that may appeal to families- volleyball, put-put golf, a nightly fire with s‘mores and right across a busy road from the beach. The room was clean and cosy but it is all a bit dated, Even the towels were thin and old. For the expensive off-season rate we paid I expected more up-to-date accommodations.

Celebrated a weekend away for my anniversary with my partner - it was wonderful! Highly recommend the honeymoon suite for: the privacy of having the entire cabin to yourselves, the jet tub, quaint & perfect size for 2, renovated & warm furniture/flooring, the cozy fireplace, and spacious fridge. Designated parking space was nice. Very quiet area right across from the beach! My only “complaint” is that the toaster was janky and the hot water ran out once (it re-filled/came back about an hour later so it wasn’t that big of a deal). I will happily return another time and I’ve already recommended this place to family.

I ended up getting sick on the day we were to fly out. We were kicked out of our VRBO and we needed a place quickly so I could sleep. Most places couldn’t take us until 4 it was only 11:30 am. They took one of their recently vacant suites and had it cleaned in 45 minutes so I could lay down. The place was immaculate. The beds were comfortable, the sheets soft. The grounds were nice with swimming pool, hot tub, picnic tables, fire pit and a great view of the lake. I was grateful for their quick turnaround. I would definitely recommend this to anyone staying in Tahoe.

This resort has has some negative reviews that are unjustified. I can be a very critical reviewer and have been for other hotels, however, our experience is as follows: |Awesome check-in host, fast, efficient and friendly.|Room #33 was clean and ready for our stay. Walls adorned with Tahoe themed pictures, small table for our morning coffee with a view of the lake.||There was a small electric fire place style heater 5hat was perfect for taking the chill off the room. In fact, with 32 degree weather it actually got too warm!|Tub while narrow was great for a hot soak on my bad back and water was plenty hot enough. ||OK, most important, the bed. Absolutely plush and comfortable! Both my wife and myself need a specific grade of firmness/softness and this was it! Both snored all night, a good sign.||Some complained about bath towels being thin.......seriously? I personally use the bath towels to dry off and throw on the floor so if you want thick,fluffy bath towels to dry off and throw on the floor, sure find another hotel and I am sure they will have the towels you crave....for $100 more a night....your choice.||I plan on coming back here this summer to get a taste of the warmer season, but expect nothing less than the awesome experience we just had!

Thoroughly enjoyed our weekend stay! It was a joy to look out on the lake from our unit's window each morning while we ate breakfast. Unit was well equipped with kitchenette and spacious with a comfy king bed and room to relax in the main room. Grounds were well-kept with nice touches, and the easement access to the beach across the street was very nice. EV charging was really important to us, and they seem to manage the one J-1772 plug (they also have a Tesla charger). Service was friendly and responsive--we had to deal with some minor issues that were taken care of immediately.

Rooms were clean and well appointed, and the location is fantastic for accessing the variety of activities in North Tahoe. But what really drives me to leave this review was the phenomenal customer service that persisted long after my stay. My child had left a stuffed animal in the bed that we had missed and we did not discover it missing until bedtime at home. The staff at Cedar Glen tracked down the missing stuffed animal and held it for us. They even went as far as to receive packaging from the local post office and sent the missing item home. I could not be more grateful! We will certainly be returning.
