Booked the 45 minute sightseeing tour for a family outing. Easy to book online and good info on where to park, meet the boat etc.

Boat arrived at the quay punctually five minutes before departure. Boarding was relatively quick and there is open or covered seating and a drink/snack bar on board.

Interesting commentary (sit near the speakers to hear well) and nice views of some of the top sights. 45 minutes was about the right length of time.

I surprised my husband with a trip to Georgetown to do the sunset cruise and it was a perfect evening! The views were great! It was narrated for about half the time but the speaker did cut out quite a bit. It was relaxing and we loved this 45 min ride!
Side note- founders fishers farmers and bakers is located right next to the boat pick up and it was delicious and eating right on the water was perfect start to the evening!

I really enjoy these tours and Georgetown. This was my second boat cruise. You barely even notice you are on water, the ride is so smooth. The sound of the waves are nice and they play a recording of facts on the local sites. You can catch the planes flying into Regan too. If you are visiting DC, be sure to sign up. I live in the DMV and I try to find ways to enjoy the city while I'm here. After the boat ride, check out Bodega, a tapas bar right up from the Wharf. Super close walking distance and the food and service are great.

Great time on this tour. It was my friends birthday and was looking for a unique way to celebrate it so capital river cruises were my choice. You get to see so much on this tour, and there were so many things I never saw before, including the navy merchant marine memorial. The tour is in walking distance on a mall, the Kennedy Center, and downtown Georgetown.

I recently used Capitol River Cruises to throw a surprise engagement party for my fiancΓ© where we hosted 35 people for a 3 hour private charter. The event could not have gone better. The team was very responsive and accommodating while I planned the event. Once on board, the crew was awesome and the cruise itself was beautiful!

Thank you to Capitol River Cruises for a wonderful evening and we plan to be back on board in the future!

We took a short, 45 minute sunset tour of the Washington Harbor area. Tour is guided by pre-recorded audio that points out several sites of interest along the Potomac, with some interesting facts about each site. Drink service was offered on board end staff was very friendly and informative. We had a really great time!

They treated us amazingly. We took the 7pm slot on a Monday night. Unfortunately, we were the only two people who turned up. However, they let the cruise continue.
The staff on board were nice, made us feel at ease, served us quality drinks, and gave a nice cruise.
