We took the lunch cruise. Food was decent enough. I really just wanted to go upstairs to enjoy the views though. Aside from the intracoastal waterways, you get to see the impressive properties lining the coast, many owned by famous people. Disclaimer: I didn't pay for my stay, it was paid for by my employer.

We had a wonderful time on the calypso queen tropical boat! The buffet was 10 out of 10! The food was absolutely delicious! The service was great! I would highly recommend booking this boat!

The price wasn’t bad for a little two hour cruise on a boat. Unlimited drinks. Rum punch was strong! However, I thought a buffet meant keep eating, but they closed it when everyone left to see the sun set. Had ac but didn’t seem to work well. Dj was alright.

Went in this cruise with my family and had a blast the crew and all the guest where amazing lots of food dance floors and a good crowd. Highly recommend to those that like a good time!

Wonderful experience! Took the afternoon lunch buffet cruise. Everything was absolutely great. From the very attentive staff, to the awesome views. Family friendly... kids just thrilled to see all the dolphins along the way. Definite must do if you're ever at Johns Pass.

Was excited to try the calypso queen, but sadly it was a waste of money. Staff was nice but very outdated in the inside and dj was pretty boring. I guess it depends on the crowd we did have majority of elderly on board. Views were beautiful but I couldn’t wait to get out with how boring it was… tables and chairs on the deck weren’t very clean and sticky

Overall great experience. Food was good, cruise was fun, staff was very friendly.

Heads up: we had a Clearwater police follow us from the event and pull us over about a mile
Up the road. I had to do a full field sobriety test, which I passed. The police were very friendly but always be cautious of your consumption.

We booked this for my fiancés birthday for the evening. We read some of these reviews and we agree with some of them. Yes the rum punch is watered down. But it’s Florida, it’s hot, you have a bunch of ppl in a small area, got the buffet and everything with hot food. But the drinks are free, there’s also beer and wine.

The food was pretty good. My fiancé doesn’t really eat fish, but she actually liked theirs which surprised me. And I’m not gonna lie, the baked ziti tasted like Chef Boyardee with shredded cheese on top lol. But over all the food was good.

After we ate we went upstairs out on the small deck to look at the water and the beautiful sky. And that’s where we spent the rest of the night sipping on our drinks, enjoying the cool breeze. We didn’t get to see any dolphins or a megalodon even which was a bummer. But the ppl on the deck before us saw some dolphins.

Overall it was very enjoyable and we would recommend it.
