Very poor experience with this realtor. There definitely seemed to be a lack of effort. Buffy is an older woman in her seventies, sittting in a extremely stable place in her personal finances, along with her husband’s business. There is no drive or motive for her to sell your home. It seemed that the attitude was, “It will sell when it sells.” There was no advertisement, and in today’s online market, advertising through social media is pivotal. I was in charge of my own marketing. I had to push for my home to be shared to Facebook sites and even listing sites like Zillow or trulia, something that should have been taken care of for me. She was also not the most professional person to show your home. She would try and schedule showings within hours or even half hours after she already scheduled with her clients before asking me. That is not okay! She would also leave your home without locking it back up. She would also never have the key I gave her to my home and ask me to leave it unlocked. All of these issues are why I cannot recommend this realtor, but there was one issue even greater! There was absolutely no follow up. She wouldn’t tell you how the showings were going. She would show your house and then you’d hear nothing. She also wouldn’t reach out the client days later to ask if they’d thought about the home more. This was the greatest downfall. Lack of effort in advertising, professionalism, and lack effort in follow up. This is someone who needs to retire and spend her entire focus on things she cares about, because selling your home isn’t her top priority.
