Now that my wedding is over and things have settled down, I can finally get to writing a review for this venue. I found this place by my sister tagging me on their Facebook. It was my number one option but, I ended up going with another venue at first because they made it sound really good. Long story short, once the coordinator there found out I wasn’t wanting to spend 80k, he treated me poorly and it was impossible to communicate with him. We ended up dropping that venue and I contacted Meagan again. She was nothing less than AMAZING throughout the entire process. Her communication was always on point! If there was a time she wasn’t able to respond for a day or so, she would always let me know why but it didn’t happen often in the almost 2 years of planning. Her and her staff on my wedding day saved me! My wedding day starting off was a nightmare but the 2 ladies she has working were amazing and so helpful! Meagan’s personality is so great too. She just makes you feel like you’ve been friends forever. She’s energetic and kind. She truly is just a wonderful, genuine person. She was born to be a venue coordinator. As for the venue itself, I booked it without ever seeing it in person. My bridal party went and sent pictures. I made a trip from TX to visit and it was even prettier than the pictures showed. I could not have found a better venue for my June wedding! The bridal suite was so gorgeously decorated and the outside is just beautiful! Obviously, with it being a historic mansion, its going to have things that are “run down” so to speak but you can tell that Meagan and her husband have done a great job getting it remodeled and they have brought so much life to such an older house. There are so many things I’d change about my wedding day if I had the chance. Meagan and this venue definitely isn’t one of them!

Your daughter had here wedding there. The grounds are amazing. It is a pre Civil War Mansion built in 1812. To have that much space in the city of Martinsburg. You feel like you are out on the country with the convenience of being close to downtown. It was fantastic. It is a perfect wedding venue. There are two cottages one for the bride and one for the groom. Sorry I did not take that many pictures of the grounds. It is worth a look for your next event.

This place is great! It has a vintage, rustic charm that was perfect for my wedding, and the owners were wonderful to work with! The venue is large and allows for various options as far as what I wanted to do with my ceremony and reception. They also allowed for us to bring our own food and drinks on premises so that we didn't have to pay overpriced venue catering fees.

Beautiful wedding venue! I would recommend this venue for more than just weddings! It's a very lovely old historic inn with lots of character and charm! The owners are amazing and such a joy and delight to work with. I couldn't imagine a more lovely wedding venue for our daughters wedding.

I cannot say enough about how wonderful our wedding experience was at Boydville. The owners are flexible and very helpful! They continue to make improvements to the grounds, which is absolutely beautiful. This venue allowed our entire wedding party to get ready on site with a bridal suite and separate house for the groomsmen to get ready. The tent in back is already included in the price, which saves a great deal of stress and money. Boydville allowed us to prep from early Friday all the way through to clean-up Sunday without charging extra based on hours. The day before the wedding it was calling for rain - Meagan and her team were very helpful in making suggestions and being open to ideas. The wedding went absolutely perfect and we are so happy we chose Boydville. If you are looking for a venue... look no further!

Attended/Catered a Bridal Shower there this weekend. I absolutely loved the venue. The rooms are huge and the everyone was so incredibly accommodating. Was a great event! Highly reccomend for your next event, wedding, or party.

Have attended many events at Boydville and the experience has always been quality. The ownership does an excellent job of making sure every event is memorable and unique. Would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a wedding venue or any other event they wish to be special.
